Matt Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Adams warns Foxes Leicester boss Micky Adams has warned his players to be on their best behaviour after taking his squad on a week-long tour of Finland. Adams said he doubted he would ever take his players on such a trip again following the Foxes' infamous saga in La Manga last season. "I know after the La Manga affair I said I would have to seriously consider taking a team away again," Adams told the club's official website. "But considering it as I have, I've decided it's best for the players at this football club, when I've got five new faces in, to get them with the old players for a little bit of team bonding. "Obviously I've sat the players down and made them fully aware of their responsibilities to themselves, their football club and to me." Leicester flew out to Helsinki on Friday and are scheduled to take part in friendly matches in both Finland and Estonia. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The night before the players went out late night drinking in La Manga, What did Micky say he said "Behave"...
Scow Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Hmmmm, I suppose Finland/Estonia is slightly different to Spain. But even so, still think it's a shocking decision to go there.......
Steven Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Hmmmm, I suppose Finland/Estonia is slightly different to Spain. But even so, still think it's a shocking decision to go there....... Instead of chasing slappers in Spain, they punch each other in Finland....
Matt Posted 11 July 2004 Author Posted 11 July 2004 Well they've been in Finland a day and a half so far so good!
Scow Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Well they've been in Finland a day and a half so far so good! No Callum Davidson or Dennis Wise this time..... :: I still think that was one of Callum's best contributions to the club was getting rid of that twat Wise. ::
