davieG Posted 30 November 2004 Share Posted 30 November 2004 Into Football and The Football Fans Census teamed up to find the most desired football autograph on the planet. Entitled "The Fans 100" the survey asked respondents if they could have any player's autograph who would they choose. The results were compiled to produce a list of the top 100 most desired autographs in football. BartonFox Posted 30 November 2004 Share Posted 30 November 2004 Robin Friday... The Greatest Football You've Never Heard Of. It's a book about a George Best style maverick who played for Cardiff and Reading in the 70's who committed suicide. He was a total hoolie used to drink hard and womanize like a right tart, but was a football genius. Read the book it's an interesting read apparently. Anish Posted 30 November 2004 Share Posted 30 November 2004 I'd love to have some of the older players like Johan Cruyff and Jimmy Greaves. Also, not on that list but somebody I have a lot of respect for is Bob Wilson (ex Arsenal keeper and TV presenter). I'm reading his autobiography and the things he has overcome to reach his goals have been inspiring.
