What is ignore anyway? Is that so you can't read a certain person's post, or so they can't PM you?

For posts, instead of seeing your ignored users posts - it's blanked out, and you're given the option of viewing the particular post just this time or removing the user from your ignored list.

So you get to choose whether you wish to see each of that users posts, but by default you don't see them.

As for PM's - I've no idea.

i just assume people read posts without having to reply every time ,

i find lots of good stuff from you and others but don't always feel the need to add anything

Only one person I had on ignore but it was a waste of time.

All the other posters kept quoting them so I saw the post anyway. I stopped the PM's though not that I received many anyway. But the whole point was letting this person know that they were not my favourite person. With me this does not happen often. Most posters on here are reasonable I have no strong reason for ignoring anyone. They seem a friendly bunch on here.
