Even a London one might be cheaper, if I can rely on the ol' Megabus and a floor at my mate's flat. This is to be organised around me. Word. Ok well - wherever and whenever. Just give us all plenty of notice!

lcfcalan Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 AHHHHHHHHHH SWEETS ,, great stuff that was when I was in my youth. Good old Mum of mine worked for Mars. Oh and the things she brought home from work were amazing. Mars bars........rejects sold off cheap to the staff. These 'rejects' were so called because they were maybe 3 inches (75 cm ) longer than regular Mars bars , apprx 2lb bags (1kilo) of what were then called Treets ( now m&m's) these were sold off due to the correct packaging not being available at the end of a 'batch run' Opal fruits, bounty bars , SPANGLES, revels , milky ways (before they went white on the inside) Galaxy chocolate bars, mmmmmmm and my favourite of the day, Maltesers. Needless to say , I am a tad overweight, in my old age now................but hey !.......it's the beer belly , no-one ever said it was sweet belly !
Monk Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 I had a drumstick this evening and it was bloody good!
