richleicity Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 We all know the club need a cash injection to kill the debt and for Rob Kelly to bring the players he wants into the club but we need someone to buy the club who has cash to pump into the club. Should the board come out and say 'Leicester City Football Club are For Sale' ? What do you think ? Do you think the club is dying ?
Tommeh Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 The club will never die I mean even Rotherham survived and they were really in the Sh1t. But it's true we desperately need so cash now!!!!!!!
richleicity Posted 13 September 2006 Author Posted 13 September 2006 The club will die if the fans dont come and watch us against S****horpe, Yeovil and Bradford; the fans are the ones who pay the money and at the moment Leicester dont deserve the support they get.

Not at the prices they're charging anyway.
l444ry Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 Not at the prices they're charging anyway. Don't panic. They'll all come back when they see those posters to remind them there's a game on.
richleicity Posted 13 September 2006 Author Posted 13 September 2006 If we were in the top 8 i wouldnt mind the prices i pay but were 4th from bottom and i wonder if i should go to the police and accuse leicester city of committing fraud.
kevinwpratt Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Not at the prices they're charging anyway. You say that but its happening in all divisions, mate of mine at work is a Posh fan and he is moaning cos tickets vs Swindon are £23..... Thats Leage Two!!!

Wouldnt go that far. You have to except your going to have to pay around £20 to watch a game now days, however shite we are i dont think there going to decrease the prices massivly.

For certain matches agreed, but for matches against teams that have just been promoted ie one's with least interest, the tool of a Fans Fixture or a more realistic grading system should be used!! But then we have ST holder moan, the club are in a no win situation!!!
steve_wilson101 Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 To get back to the original point. Yes - the board whould say that the club are up for sale. It doesn't have to be a sugar daddy (although that would be nice) but someone who can bring moderate funds to stablisise us and start a rebuilding process that will take time.
eaststandtom Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 who realistically is going to take on the debt? its millions before you can even think about offering transfer budgets?
Dr The Singh Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 who realistically is going to take on the debt? its millions before you can even think about offering transfer budgets? Derby have knocked 40mill off there debt, mainly through astute accounting and investment, i'm sure the club could do something similar!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/derbyshire/5344502.stm "There has been a series of accounts methodology or restructuring, in which certain debts are put to one side and then transferred back but in realistic terms there has been a substantial write-off."
