Southern Fox Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Ive decided that enough is enough. I am going to put pen to paper to ROb Kelly and demand this idiot is dropped. It a joke having him in the side. He gives us nothing offensively or defensively. I cant take it anymore. He made me get out of my seat 3 times today in a fit of anger. For gods sake man, wake the hell up Rant over. I will put something on paper more politically correct to Rob tomorrow but on those lines. What a waste of wages!
Tommeh Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Very much agreed I tried to defend him in previous games saying we should give him time but today he just seemed out of ideas and determined to do the sort of things which have got fans on his back in previous games! Williams can't come back soon enough!!!
City_4_Life Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Drop him he is useless. Easy way of putting it.
Floating Fox Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 IMO I thought Hughes was worse today at least johnson put A BIT of effort in <_<
jumbo mills Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 his legs have gone, i saw him at the baggies a couple of years ago and he was ok lost it now though
Yaxx Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Johnson is very frustrating to watch. He does at least get stuck in and can hold the play up well - but his distribution is woeful.
potter3 Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Did you see his peice of absolute S**** that was meant to be a cross field pass, that went out of play when he was under no pressure whatsoever
OBO Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Hughes was bad today but Johnson was absolutely pathetic. All he does is shout. And point. He'll NEVER pass it forwards, only sideways or backwards for Andy. And he never commits to a challenge, just sticks the occasional toe in here and there. If it wasn't for all the huffing, puffing, pointing and shouting, he's look even lazier than Williams. He's an absolute waste of space.
Milky Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 it's sad to see a former international in such a poor state, but it happens to everyone eventually, even the greats.

Althought i didnt go today or listen to most of the game, for the last few games Hughes has been pathetic, he's the more creative man. He should be dropped first, and at this rate, closely followed by Johnson.

Don't be fooled by the shouting and finger wagging. McCarthy was fuming with him on several occaisions for simply deciding not to track back his man. A defencive midfield player who does very little defending.
Ultra Posted 24 September 2006 Posted 24 September 2006 The guy is appalling and WELL past his sell-by date. He is doing for Kelly what Joe Hamill did for Levein!
Maybes Posted 24 September 2006 Posted 24 September 2006 The guy is appalling and WELL past his sell-by date. He is doing for Kelly what Joe Hamill did for Levein! To be far to levein he didnt play hamill to many times, but kelly insists that he must play. I feel like setting up an Andy Johnson and Stephen Hughes hate club!!!
Southern Fox Home Posted 24 September 2006 Posted 24 September 2006 As I said yesterday I will be sending a letter to Rob with my opinions of Andy Johnson. I wont be swearing or anything like that but will pen a detailed letter of observation with plenty of examples. What worries me is that he is so bad but if dropped who comes in?
ithuriel Posted 24 September 2006 Posted 24 September 2006 well if kelly insists on playing johnson and hughes , as somebody here mentioned , it will cost him his position. the moment the crowd starts booing at the end of matches and half time the board will swing into action and interview poeple but state they were not going to employ them anyway. thrac will want the youth team played , barton fox will give us 'were doomed , dooooomed i tell ye' impression and the FT will do very little i'll eat more chocolate to get over my craving for goodfootball which was to get over my craving for beer which would have been to get over my craving for cigarettes , if i smoked , such is the life of a leicester supporter these days
TrickyTrev Posted 24 September 2006 Posted 24 September 2006 Or attacking Oh thats a given. Judging by pretty much every time I have seen him attempt to kick a ball thats no bad thing. I don't mind a holding player who does very little in the final third, they must however be excellent defencively and be the starting point to many attacks. Taking the ball off of defenders and allowing more creative players around him to get he ball in at their feet in more advanced positions. Billy MacKinley, Neil Lennon, Steffen Freund all did it brilliantly.

Milky Posted 24 September 2006 Posted 24 September 2006 when we signed johnson i think the majority applauded kelly for the signing.
