Cat Burger Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 I hope in 2 seasons we have an entirely new squad except Canero, Stearman, Williams, Tiatto and Taylor. The rest can go, so one signing isn't going to be enough. 45905 I would keep Stewart, Heath and Dawson otherwise quite right, oh and that reminds me, Wright aswell
Alexikokopops Posted 13 December 2004 Posted 13 December 2004 ,Dec 11 2004, 12:10 AM]Then there is Arsenal striker Quincy Owusu-Abeyie - He could rip any defence apart, he's so quick. I've seen a few of Arsenal's carling cup games and he's been on fire. Again, we couldn't buy him, but there is always the loan option. 45468 "Quincy from Croydon" as he's known by me and the guys in my hall. We were pretty impressed by him too. I reckon we should sign Gary Taylor-Fletcher (striker) from Lincoln. Ever since his back-heel-volley-lob he scored last season when the ball was behind him in the air, I've hailed him as a legend. 45691 "back heel volley lob" 45758 A back-heel-volley-lob WITH HIS BACK TO GOAL, no less!! Look!!
Scow Posted 13 December 2004 Posted 13 December 2004 Such a fluke, I bet he was just trying to flick the ball on.
Anish Posted 13 December 2004 Posted 13 December 2004 Such a fluke, I bet he was just trying to flick the ball on. 46423 A bit like Scowy's goal against Bradford on your avatar - he was aiming for the corner flag to waste a bit of time - it was the 90th minute after all
Alexikokopops Posted 13 December 2004 Posted 13 December 2004 Such a fluke, I bet he was just trying to flick the ball on. 46423 Well I'd rather have Fletch flicking long-balls on than Scowcroft if he does that He missed controlled it. 46426 Best mis-control I've seen in a while I'd try and get hold of his second goal against Leyton Orient last season, a mazy run from the halfway line past 5 defenders, but I'm too lazy. Anyway, another promising prospect from League Two is Grant McCann of Cheltenham. Good little player him, with 8 caps for Northern Ireland.
weluvulesta Posted 14 December 2004 Posted 14 December 2004 I'd bring Matty Piper back. He was a real talent and i'm sure he would kill to be with us.
Cobbo Posted 14 December 2004 Posted 14 December 2004 I'd bring Matty Piper back. He was a real talent and i'm sure he would kill to be with us. 46475 But the fact is that he is veeeeeeeeeeeery injury prone, would be a big gamble Was so annoyed when we sold him though
