Tubes Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 whats the most you have ever seen? mine has to be today 7 minutes
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Saw an African Nations Cup game three years ago that had TEN minutes injury time. Think off the top of my head it was something like Tunisia v Democratic Republic of Congo. Not sure though.
Brummie-FOX Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 I remember 7 But the time was about 4mins in the Reading - Chelsea game and lasted until the 102min.
Tubes Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 I remember 7 But the time was about 4mins in the Reading - Chelsea game and lasted until the 102min. what was the final score? was there any goals in them 10 minuntes that changed the game brummie? edited spelling
Benji Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 I think the BBC final score said the middlesborough game today had 8 minutes injury time, it finished just after ours
Thracian Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 I thought the stewards might come round and charge us extra! Tell you what though. If they'd scored when our two injured players were ordered off the field life I don't think the reaction would have been pleasant. Bloody stupid rule.
Brummie-FOX Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 It finished 1-0 Chelsea Quite a weird game actually Cech came off after 5mins with an injury I Ingamarrson (sp) scored a flukey own-goal. Then Cudicini was unconcious ( i think ) and the game was stopped for about 8mins. Thats basically why it finished in the 102min
Durnerz Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Wasn't there about 40 minutes extra time at Old Trafford between Man Utd and Coventry when David Busst broke his leg?

Ultra Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Wasn't there about 40 minutes extra time at Old Trafford between Man Utd and Coventry when David Busst broke his leg? It was more like 15. The longest one I remember was also at OT in a game between Man Utd and Sheff Wednesday. The ref was injured and had to go off and they took ages to find another linesman (no fourth official in those days). Five minutes into injury time United were losing 1-0. They then scored twice to win the game. I think they ended up winning the league that year..

I hope we make an official complaint - I was incensed Having Paddy off made sense...but there has to be room for common sense in this matter. It was pure idiocy on behalf of the ref!
