Daggers Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 When the whistle was blown for a Soton free kick, Hume carried on traversing the pitch juggling the ball on his foot as he went ~ it was a moment that said to Soton 'I have the talent and the confidence'. It displayed an attitude that the team has lacked the season thus far. I see in it a sea-change of attitude that Kelly has built up over the International break. Or maybe I've just refound my rose-tinted spex.

Guest Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 He should hand out a boxfull. Along with vodka and codiene based pain killers. Or is that too much to ask? It does make the matchday experience better....
Knighton Matt Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 If Hume were an animal he'd be a reptile. A reptile which had been injured at some point in it's life. A reptile with something to prove... a reptile with a chip on its shoulder. Do reptiles have shoulders? This one fu cking does!

The People's Hero Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 Hume has a chip the size of a small reptile on his shoulder. A small reptile that has just been beaten over the head with a monkey by a chipmunk dressed as a monk riding a small reptile.

The sturdy base of a good girth based shaft with a kind of unpredictable animal like presence at the end, ready to snap at opposition defences.

Knighton Matt Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 In that case, yes, reptiles do have shoulders. Phew! So it stands up to scrutiny.
