Guest Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 I don't think I could cope with that... doesn't it taste... "too sweet" by itself? Not at all, you get to savour the sweet and sour combination much better. ahhh yes, i remember using the picky styley back in the day. Perhaps it's time. It is time, go forth and consume many jaffa cakes.

Daggers Posted 22 October 2006 Author Posted 22 October 2006 I'm going to eat more cake now. Lot's of cake. You look, in five minutes time there's just going to be a cake shaped hole on the plate made out of cake crumbs. Then I'm going to feel guilty. And then I'd going to have to do something about it...

Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 I would have staked my house on Nationwider plumping for Battenberg in this thread. Chocolate cheese for me.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 What is chocolate cheese? Chocolate cheesecake innit.
Nationwider Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 M'thinks Fezzler's referring to Chocolate Cheesecake? Either that or he's a weirdo who likes chocolate cheese?
cisono Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 Chocolate cheesecake innit. Never knew it existed... Have I lived a cake-sheltered existence so far?!?!
Milky Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 i've heard of and eaten cheesecake, very nice it was too, but chocolate! that could sweeten the deal. Must get me some of this.
cisono Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 i've heard of and eaten cheesecake, very nice it was too, but chocolate! that could sweeten the deal. Must get me some of this. I wonder where we can get some... or do we have to make it ourselves?
Milky Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 I wonder where we can get some... or do we have to make it ourselves? i'll have a word with my jaffamaster, see what i can find out.
Nationwider Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 I feel like Sir Walter Raleigh. I can't be sure, but I suspect you're the first FT poster to admit that.
cisono Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 i'll have a word with my jaffamaster, see what i can find out. Cool. Let me know what you find out
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 I can't be sure, but I suspect you're the first FT poster to admit that. I would like to quantify that I do not feel any urge to either eat or sexually satisfy Sir Walter Raleigh, I just know what he must have felt like now when he introduced the humble potato to the great unwashed. Hmm, Wikipedia thinks that whole story is hogwash though. Shame.
Daggers Posted 22 October 2006 Author Posted 22 October 2006 Tycho Brahe was a brilliant astronomer and scientist of his time, and has had a big significance on the development of astronomy, science in general, and our view of the world. He is especially famous for two particular things, his damaged nose, and his death. The similarities between his life and mine are frightening really...even down to us both being Danish princes, both of us are excellent physicists and both of us have a fondness for Death Metal.
Alexikokopops Posted 22 October 2006 Posted 22 October 2006 I can't eat cake. The woes of being a vegan.
Daggers Posted 23 October 2006 Author Posted 23 October 2006 Sometimes, I feel like Jane Asher. I used to but then she went and got old.
