See this is where opinions differ... and what makes a message board.

Yes Connolly should have scored!

Personally I thought Gillespie, Tiatto and Joey played well and I thought Nalis was not as effective in this game as he has been in others.

And also, I don't think it was a poor performance, I think we played them off the park first half and could and should have been 2 or 3 nil up.

Some people must of been at a different game.

How can people say Gillespie wasnt tht good and Joey was bad?

They were our best two players tonight.

Not a bad night out, feels good equalising late but should of stuffed them, there a very poor team.

Nalis played better than Gudjonsson, Joeys ambitious passes fail too many times...he needs to do more running about and less long passes.

Nalis is a better player than Joey but not tonight he wasn't.

Joey was trying to do things, create something, Nalis was the same as usual with some decent stuff and then the terrible passes at times.

Everyone has different expecations of players - hence they judge them differently. I expect a central holding midfielder like Gudjonsson to get the ball and play it simple, offer support to both defence and attack, and not give the ball away cheaply. Gudjonsson gives the ball away far too much far my liking, his passing isn't as great as people think. Yes he did get stuck in quite a fair bit and hassled the Forest midfield a lot tonight - but he was never on the edge of the area to pick up the Forest defenders' clearances and actually do something constructive.

Gillespie today was average - his one free-kick from the right (in the 1st half) which hit the one/two man wall was truly shocking and a fair few of his crosses didn't go to anybody in blue either. He looks good running at defenders though and he offers something that nobody else in our team seems to - pace.

Dublin stood out for me tonight, him and Keown were rarely beaten, We lost the midfield battle to a superb andy reid, Nalis and gudjonsson didnt have an answer to him, down the flanks we looked good at times.
