philafox Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Lets chop them down and burn them. I'm in a really bad mood. Scumbag work colleagues wouldn't do a shift swap so I cannot watch the match. Any jobs going?
shen Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Man I'm PO!! For once they show a Leicester match on TV and then the local Irish pub chooses to screen that stupid England vs SA game!!
Little Nicky Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 **** decent we are, should be 3 or 4 up IMO. Connolly is having a blinder at the moment, I hope he can pop one in the back of the net in the second half!
philafox Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 I haven't even got a radio. Does it sound/look like a good game?
Matt Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Connolly is having a good game but how on earth did he manage to fuk up his chance that he had after 30 seconds?!?!?!? Please Connolly - Your playing good but just score a feking goal! (Mind you, When he scored his first goal for the club I thought he was gonna start scoring regularly, How wrong could I be?!? )
Matt Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 BOLLOCKS! You could see it happening same old same old, We have all the chance the opposistion score 1-0 Forest

shen Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Oh bollocks now blakes coming on...and williams... 47496 do we at all look likely to equalise? <_<
Matt Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Well we are the stronger team and then we make one silly mistake and Forest take it up the other end and look like scoring....I don't think we can equalise...
Matt Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 I APPOLOGISE WE HAVE JUST EQUALISED DAVID CONNOLLY WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Now lets get a winner,
Matt Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Full Time 1-1 Oh well we were the better team and deserved a win, But with a last minute goal, better than nothing!
Wellman Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 GET IN, go on the lads, off side as well!!! O well the tank hand balled it for them so all square!
Alexikokopops Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Dion Dublin's head deserves a medal for that little header to Connolly.
Mark Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Played quite well overall. Second half wasn't too impressive though. I thought Connolly, Gillespie and Joey were the best performers. No suprises again from Scowcroft, same old shite.
Little Nicky Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Should have stuffed the trees there really! Good result in the end though, when we looked to have let it get away again! Come on Conners I knew you could do it!
MON Posted 17 December 2004 Author Posted 17 December 2004 We should of beat them, but oh well. Revenge is Sweet.

Alexikokopops Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Gillespie improved as the match went on, although I didn't like his attempts to take it round players in our half
Ricey Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 A good first half performance but we how on earth Connolly missed the ball with the goal gapping I will never know, then Gillespie managed to to the hardset thing and hit the defender on the line! Then Scowy missed a open goal I went mental when Connolly I recorded it for my cousin a Forest fan, he didn't want me to tell him the score but he said "I think we were winning, I may be back to give you some stick" you do that mate!
Sparky Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 just got back , felt like a win to be fair . joey was awesome tonight and connolly wasnt far behind . 2 bad games on the bounce for scowy now , maybe is time to give wright a start . the only worrying aspect to tonights display was that we had enough chances to win 3 games
Anish Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 Played quite well overall. Second half wasn't too impressive though. I thought Connolly, Gillespie and Joey were the best performers. No suprises again from Scowcroft, same old shite. 47505 That statement shows that watching the game on TV is no comparison to seeing the game live. I thought Connolly played well, but should easily have scored in the 1st minute - why he cut back inside instead of a first time shot I don't know. Gillespie was pretty poor in the first half, although he improved slightly in the second half. He certainly wasn't one of our best performers though. Joey Gudjonsson was atrocious - his passing was awful - mostly overhit or overambitious (Wembley ball) and he didn't support the attackers in any shape or form. His off the ball movement is non-existent and he never won any 50-50 balls to note. The best performers were Nalis and Tiatto...again. They showed what playing football is about - keeping the ball and keeping it simple, as well as offering support to both midfielders and strikers. Their composure on the ball was head and shoulders above everyone else around them and their class told. Overall, although it was a good point in the end, it was still a very poor performance. Our strikeforce is a disgrace and I am becoming more and more of the opinion that it is Scowcroft (rather than Connolly) that is at the root of the problem. He didn't win many headers today and although he worked hard, he didn't ever look like a threat to their defence.
