Turtles Head Posted 5 December 2006 Share Posted 5 December 2006 Voted few loan players. No point spending much money this season, we'd be best to wait until next season and start afresh as it were. Look at what Stoke managed to do, all with half a dozen loanees. Why cant we do the same
gatesheadfox Posted 5 December 2006 Share Posted 5 December 2006 all the above with the exception of wait until the end of the season
Fleckney Fox Posted 5 December 2006 Author Share Posted 5 December 2006 Jason Koumas - maybe too difficult to get but he could change our fortunes with his little finger

Wils Posted 5 December 2006 Share Posted 5 December 2006 Oh yay. Another thread about the potential expenditure in January. Not another one. We made it clear who we all wanted in on the other thread. :pinch:
Fleckney Fox Posted 5 December 2006 Author Share Posted 5 December 2006 but he by far better than any1 we have got now - well any one is at the moment but we really need someone like koumas who can prodide our strikers with the crosses they need because we all know what Matty Fryatt and Iain Hume can do when their playing at their best

lookwhaticando Posted 5 December 2006 Share Posted 5 December 2006 I vote we buy another club. Let's buy Plymouth, they seem to be doing alright at the minute. Their manager's quite a decent chap, too, and he's bloody funny. He's got them playing well. Fantastic. And we should buy Peter Gilbert back from Sheffield Wednesday. We need a decent left back, and he was class. Failing in that, Jordan Stewart from Watford. He's played in t' Premiership, ya know. We should dispose of our squad, with few exceptions - Logan, McAuley, Kisnorbo, Hume, Wesolowski, Williams, Porter, Stearman. Anyone else have any ludicrous suggestions? Head Honcho Posted 5 December 2006 Share Posted 5 December 2006 First thing I'd do is give anyone who's held a ST for 3 years on the trot a free one next season! Right that's about 10000 fans on your side, you can do anything now
chili_con_carne Posted 5 December 2006 Share Posted 5 December 2006 Yeah but i want a new manager and new players. Getting in a new manager is hardly going to cost that much is it, Kelly's contract expires soon anyway.
