dandannieldanok Posted 8 December 2006 Posted 8 December 2006 Anyone watching Harrison Vs Williams tommorow night. Will probably be a boring fight but things got a bit tasty at the weigh-in link
lildave3 Posted 8 December 2006 Posted 8 December 2006 Thought Scott Harrison was fighting Audley Harrison?
dandannieldanok Posted 8 December 2006 Author Posted 8 December 2006 Thought Scott Harrison was fighting Audley Harrison? Scott Harrison is fighting a bloke called Nicky Cook. Audley Harrison should have been fighting Matt Skelton but Danny William's took his place when Skelton pulled out.
Milky Posted 8 December 2006 Posted 8 December 2006 Scott Harrison is fighting a bloke called Nicky Cook. Audley Harrison should have been fighting Matt Skelton but Danny William's took his place when Skelton pulled out. i thought scott harrison failed to make the weight and so the fight is off audley and williams had a bit of a fight a their weigh in
dandannieldanok Posted 8 December 2006 Author Posted 8 December 2006 i thought scott harrison failed to make the weight and so the fight is off You are correct link
dandannieldanok Posted 8 December 2006 Author Posted 8 December 2006 The last fight they had was the dullest ever. Yes it was and I probably would be watching it if this brawl had not taken place. It doesnt help with Williams being a collosal 19stone 1lb. I still think he will win, points victory likely.
Ultra Posted 9 December 2006 Posted 9 December 2006 The last fight they had was the dullest ever. Indeed. It brought shame upon their sport. But I'd be surprised if the rematch is much different, whatever the hype may suggest...

But I'd be surprised if the rematch is much different, whatever the hype may suggest... You must be surprised then, that fight was pretty good and finally the viewing public has been able to see the hughe potential of Audley. Great performance from the 'A-Force'
The People's Hero Posted 11 December 2006 Posted 11 December 2006 Like I've said previously, Audley is a decent boxer... in fact, he's a very good boxer with decent technique and the ability to hit hard and land good blows with either hand. His problem has always been he doesn't like to fight. He doesn't like getting hit. He's got the boxing element.. i'm just not sure he's enough of a fighter.

Problem is, the Heavy weight division is so craptacular these days, the could well be enough to bag himself a world title. Or almost definitely a shot at one. Which probably isn't right but hey ho.
Dr The Singh Posted 11 December 2006 Posted 11 December 2006 Audley did well against a Williams which was due retirement!!! But he showed hunger and desire to beat Williams!! I've never rated Audley, but I agree the division is crap, I can see Audley becomming World Champ in a division full of chumps!!
