Guest Daniel Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 Too much rain... All that way with a hang over to see the match get abandoned, i might go to the re-match.
Guest Daniel Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 I wouldn't got as far as saying promising, maybe a little better.
Muz Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 ill be going to the replay now. Did not go because of it being on New Yeards day.
Little Nicky Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 Anybody know what that means for Gillespie's suspension now? Does he miss Preston away as well after this? Hey, looks like Maybury will be able to play against Burnley after all
foxesfan69 Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 I feel for the poor city fans who travelled to Burnley only for it to be abandoned. <_<
Anish Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 I feel for the poor city fans who travelled to Burnley only for it to be abandoned. <_< 50819[/snapback] Yep same here, unlucky eh. I bet they don't get to go to the rematch for free either.

Katy Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 I heard about the game being postponed on the way back from Wales - the pitch sounded awful!
Lukeh Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 Shame that the rain interupted the match! From the radio it heard like some good link up play was hapening with Scowcroft and Conners!! Heard Dublin on the radio and he was shitting himself when he passed back to goalie when it stopped halfway and they could of scored!! Good stuff!
Guest Daniel Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 They wont be refunded, will be half price to the rematch, the same as what happened at Reading i should imagine.
Scow Posted 1 January 2005 Posted 1 January 2005 Because the match was abadoned before half time, we should get the replay free, providing we keep the tickets stubs. Although, I will have to pay for Fox Travel again. The pitch was literally a bath, it had to be abandoned, although I wasn't best pleased at the time after spending 3 hours on the coach. I imagine it will be re-arranged for a Tuesday/Wednesday night now in a few months time.
