Matt Posted 20 December 2006 Posted 20 December 2006 I'm not sure if this helps you or not but i'm not sure what your on about so i'll add to this thread anyway, I download stuff from Google Videos to put on my iPod, Its the only place I know how to do it from , You are limited to what you can download obviously because it's similar to youtube people upload the video so if no-ones uploaded what you want you obviously can't have it, tbf though i only have about 4 videos on my iPod - Empire (Kasabian), Smack My Bitch Up (Prodigy), The Prayer (Bloc Party) and a funny one which is just random! As I said dunno whether that will help you or even if its got anything to do with the question your asking!

Downloaded movies are sometimes in avi format. You then need a converter to make them into mp4's to watch on your ipod. Most converters will also convert from dvd, divx, mpegs etc to mp4s. I have converted all the recent two series of Dr Who, Gremlins I and II, Back to the Future I, II and III, The Lord of the Rings Extended Trilogy, all six Star Wars, England in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s, all the Harry Potters and put them on my kids ipods. leicesterboys, if you download the trial of winavi I can give you a user name and password that will make it work.
