lcfc_jme Posted 28 December 2006 Posted 28 December 2006 Whatever happened to the Vicar of Dibley thread? I believe you bastardised it by reading the small print on page 2 instead of the main text It's your fault this thread has descended into farce. Redeem yourself and get it back on track

lcfc_jme Posted 28 December 2006 Posted 28 December 2006 No problem. That Dawn French ain't half funny Aye she's hilarious. But then again, all fatbig-boned people tend to be pretty entertaining Her performance in Little Britain as Vicky Pollards mum is quite funny as well
lildave3 Posted 28 December 2006 Posted 28 December 2006 Aye she's hilarious. But then again, all fatbig-boned people tend to be pretty entertaining Her performance in Little Britain as Vicky Pollards mum is quite funny as well That Jam and Jerusalem ain't much cop though. Pretty poor considering the cast.
lcfc_jme Posted 28 December 2006 Posted 28 December 2006 That Jam and Jerusalem ain't much cop though. Pretty poor considering the cast. I refer thee to the saying "too many cooks spoil the brothel" Sometimes these things pay off, sometimes they don't. It seems in the case of Jam and Jerusalem, it did nae pay off. Tough break I guess.

lcfc_jme Posted 28 December 2006 Posted 28 December 2006 Was that misquote intentional? Aye reading it back maybe I notice where I went wrong... Have to say it didn't look right when I first read it, but by the time I had posted it, I was too tired to care or act on it .. Thanks for picking up on it though, knew I could count on you
Head Honcho Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 Richard Armitage Thought VOD was the best I've seen for a long time. Some of the specials over recent years (especially the last one I think?) have been a bit dull/unfunny, but as these are supposed to be the last ever episodes they seemed to have pulled out the stops writing wise. Good send-off. .............and Leicester born and bred too! I was disappointed with Little Britain but TVOD was superb as usual. The Alice character was disappointing though, I think maybe Emma Chambers has grown out of the part!

There's a certain time-frame in which you can act like a complete moron when you're not one really.
lookwhaticando Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 Very good 2nd part, great way to end it That meant to be the last ever, then?
lildave3 Posted 1 January 2007 Posted 1 January 2007 That meant to be the last ever, then? Believe so, but they have said this before...
Louise Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 They have said it before, but at the end of this one they had a mini-montage of clips and behind the scenes stuff, so I'd think this is probably it.
Leicester's 12th Man Posted 2 January 2007 Posted 2 January 2007 What the hell was her flying all about??? Spoilt it tbh
lookwhaticando Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 They have said it before, but at the end of this one they had a mini-montage of clips and behind the scenes stuff, so I'd think this is probably it. Mystic Louise strikes again! Vicar of Dibley to return for 'one last episode' in March.
lildave3 Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 Mystic Louise strikes again! Vicar of Dibley to return for 'one last episode' in March. Only a little 10 minute thing though, not a full blown episode.
Louise Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 Mystic Louise strikes again! Vicar of Dibley to return for 'one last episode' in March. Probably something to do with both 'last' episodes getting over 12 million viewers. Let it die BBC! Then again, I suppose for Comic Relief it's ok....
Bert Posted 3 January 2007 Posted 3 January 2007 I'm seriuosly going to have to re-think who i vote for in this years awards now.
lookwhaticando Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Probably something to do with both 'last' episodes getting over 12 million viewers. Let it die BBC! Then again, I suppose for Comic Relief it's ok.... Let the people feel good and open their wallets. Vicar of Dibley surely facilitates this. I'm seriuosly going to have to re-think who i vote for in this years awards now. Louise's dodgy information let you down? I guess I'm heir-apparent. Go me.
lildave3 Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Does anybody think that this will become the new Only fools and horses in the sense that they keep saying it's the last one, but they still make more?
Louise Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 I'm seriuosly going to have to re-think who i vote for in this years awards now. LWICD is just trying to manipulate you! He has no confidence in his own powers, so has to put mine down. He has no faith in the judgement of the people so he has to use shameless lies and tricks to get what he wants. Poorly done LWICD, poorly done.
Stuliasz Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 I was expecting more from the second part and while it was ok within itself, it was nowhere near as good as the first. I don't know about anyone else but I expected the villagers to be leading her on with their silly ideas for the wedding with the daft wedding having already been done with Alice's and for them to give her the perfect wedding and as has already been said I thought the flying bit at the end was poor.
Louise Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 The second bit wasn't as good as the first, they probably should have dragged out into the second episode. Best bit has to be when Owen drove past and covered her white dress head-to-toe in mud.
Leicester Lass Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 The second bit wasn't as good as the first, they probably should have dragged out into the second episode. Best bit has to be when Owen drove past and covered her white dress head-to-toe in mud. It was obvious that it was coming but was still very funny.
