Rincewind Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 The stops on Charles street are the ternimus so they may have ten minutes to spare before they are due to go out People would miss the nuses because they are early if they didn't wait. Also if the buses have those tachometer things fitted the drivers will be in trouble if the dont take breaks. Saturday afternoon football match on January sales would add to the conjestion in the city centre and routes along Welford Road Saffron Lane. Best thing is to allow fime for the possibility of delays.
andy_croydz Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I think in regards to trampiness, it depends on which route it is. Try the 16 through Braunstone for example, its a hole and its First. The Arrivas down /narborough Road can be quite bad... the 104 isnt too bad though... Waaaay 104, thats my bus to town
Bluefoxtim Posted 7 January 2007 Author Posted 7 January 2007 Really takes the biscuit. Oh well I will go to the Fulham away game I thought... Turns out we are playing on wednesday the 17th. The day before an A-level exam. Getting home at about 1am for an exam at 9am? No thanks Could we be on the tv?
Steven Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 Pfft, get your own central trains thread bus lover!
Guest Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I've come across people who recommend public transport! If you're referring to me, I use public transport, I never said it was a brilliant experience. Arriva must have a cabinet full of complaints registered by me.

Arriva must have a cabinet full of complaints registered by me. I admire your persistence and durability. If I had to use public transport I think I'd quickly become a recluse. There are few experiences I detest more.
