Its a Samsung ??40 forget exact model When I first got my new phone (W850i) I was given the first month free with Sky Sports News. It was good, when you got signal, alot of the time I couldn't get a signal. But it was alright. Can't help you with the model though sorry.

stez Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 you could get the phone unlocked. also i have heard thaty the signal is only strong enough in certain places, so like ched says, you only get the tv every now and then. waste of a tenner if you ask me
Rincewind Posted 7 January 2007 Author Posted 7 January 2007 The one I saw had 30 Sky channels. Just had a quick google search cant find it. I will look again later need a couple of hours kip. I was told that you have to be in the right area to pick up the signal. I may see if you have to have it for a fixed period.. If I get it from a vodafone shop they'll want me to use their payg service wont they?
Rincewind Posted 7 January 2007 Author Posted 7 January 2007 This Nokia has TV on it. looks exsensive.
samcobblin Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 most of the t.v is pre recorded and repeated and the signal is really rubbish you can get it on vodafone with most phone models that are wap enabled and have a media player but i wouldn't bother. sometimes they offer it to me for free for a month so i have that then cancel my subscription
Rincewind Posted 7 January 2007 Author Posted 7 January 2007 I wont bother then. You are paying by the minute for WAP anyway sp an extra subscription will be too much. I read the details on that Nokia above there it says programmes were pre-recorded. I was also thinking about Bluetooth not being sure what it was I just looked it up on Wik.... doubt it'll be much use for me. So I've narrowed it down to a cameraphone poss with MP3 and not too expensive.

Alexikokopops Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I'm getting a new phone in a couple of weeks with unlimited everything (including other network peak phone calls, video calls and TV) for £25 a month. Ding dang do. The benefits of having a sister who works at Vodafone head office.
