Good Report From Gilbert the Filbert

Couple of Extracts:

I was talking to someone I know recently who’s just retired after 50 years working as a toilet attendant. I said ‘You must have seen a lot of changes in your time.’

‘Oh I have.’ He replied. ‘These days you just wonder what’s going on. Nowadays, in the toilets there’s needles on the floor, blokes propositioning each other. Blokes having sex in the cubicles. In fact it’s got so bad that if someone comes in for a straight s**t these days, it’s like a breath of fresh air!’ Well I knew what he meant. Football’s now like that.

lollollol Well it made me laugh.

It was pathetic to see our ‘fans’ being provoked by The Blackpool mob and having to be dragged out by security. Silly little schoolboys in Burberry hats on some sort of demented ego trip of self destruction, wallowing in the occasion of being escorted out when in fact all they needed was their nappies changing.

:rolleyes::rolleyes: Confirms my view of L1

The little 12 year olds in their burberry are rather annoying to be fair. Move the Kop next season and I will sit there! :D

Davieg, did you know that goldfish have very short memories?

I actually believe that most footie fans did not come down from the trees along with the rest of humanity. I believe they are a freak mutation, directly descended from the carp sent back to the kitchens by the trenchermen that invented footie at the Mason's Arms in Covent Garden in 1863...

A case in point is this Gilbert the Filbert (GTF). He reckons this squad is the worst he has seen since the days of Frank McLintock (er that would include Worthington, Weller, Glover by the way). Is this the very same GTF, I wonder, who was creaming himself a just few months back on his crap little site about how we would bounce back to The Prem at the first attempt because of the superb signings that a certain nameless dynamic duo had managed to pull off? Well, is it?

Is this the same GTF, I wonder, who said just a few weeks ago that a certain former manager just HAD to go because he had not made full use of his 'talented' squad? Well, is it?

And is this the same GTF, I wonder, who started speculating about automatic promotion from the championship after back to back wins against Plymouth and Leeds because the 'talented' squad now had a talented manager? Well, is it?

Was all this said by the same GTF that wrote that 'brilliant' Blackpool match report?

Well, was it?

GTF = Get The **** out of footie and jump back in your pond.

Err I think you will see that I said it was a Good Report, not Brilliant. It was good, in my eyes because I found something funny in it, by the way do you ever have a laugh or are you always looking for the half empty cup, I liked to see you post something a liitle light hearted please; and something that confirmed my observations about L1

. The report was then linked out of curtesey to show were I got the information from as I like to give credit where it's due. As for the rest of your vitriol I wouldn't know but I would appreciate you not trying to drag me back to the past, I can do that myself thank you, life's too short and I'm too old to keeping visiting it at other people' s bequest. ;)

Here's to a successful and prosperous future for LCFC.

I always read Gilbert the Filbert. Normally a good read and usually talks sense. ;)
