Muz Posted 11 January 2005 Posted 11 January 2005 Nigel Worthington has just been talking on TV and he says that he want 2 or more 3 players in yet , but its a case of the clubs letting him go.A striker one of them aswell. So fingers crossed
Louise Posted 11 January 2005 Posted 11 January 2005 If he wants a striker why would he go for Scowy?
SilverFox Posted 11 January 2005 Posted 11 January 2005 Lets just hope that someone takes him. I think his days as a striker are finished, but he still looks ok in midfield. He creates more there than up front. P.s. Like the new Signature?

Scow Posted 11 January 2005 Posted 11 January 2005 If he wants a striker why would he go for Scowy? 53849 Because he's apparently 'versatile'?

Shauno45 Posted 11 January 2005 Posted 11 January 2005 I dont think Scowcrofts goin anywhere yet. Link Nigel Worthington has ruled out any more permanent signings after splashing out on Dean Ashton. Norwich boss Worthington paid a club record £3 million for Crewe marksman Ashton, and that will be his last permanent signing of the January transfer window. With so much money leaving the Carrow Road coffers, Worthington insists that only a loan deal can go ahead to bolster his squad. Worthington has something of an injury crisis on his hands at the club, and has no intention of selling any players to balance the books. "I think the only possibility is another loan signing," Worthington told the club website. "At this point I have 14 outfield players fit and two goalkeepers. I've brought Dean Ashton here to help us. "Selling a player will detract from why we have brought Dean here."
bluefox Posted 11 January 2005 Posted 11 January 2005 WE CAN ONLY HOPE THAT THIS USELESS PILE OF SH1TE IS FINALLY ON HIS WAY
breadandcheese Posted 11 January 2005 Posted 11 January 2005 maybe a possible loan of scowie for the rest of the season. Would make sense for both clubs. Wages off our books, hopefully freeing up a little more cash for Levein to play with. Plus it gives Norwich exactly what they want, bar the good striker bit. I mean, Come on Worthington, Scowie will keep Norwich up. Honest. Sign him up.
Scow Posted 11 January 2005 Posted 11 January 2005 Versatile? Has this word a new meaning nowadays? 53984 I just thought it was another meaning for 'crap'.
SilverFox Posted 11 January 2005 Posted 11 January 2005 I'm told by me old mate Mad Biker a few days ago that there are/or at least were interested parties! So I wouldn't write it off just yet. Lets just say if Scowy wants to move clubs hes not doing himself any good.
