James. Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Following on from Reading on the Toilet comes the next Joy of Life, Bed. I love my bed. I really should spend longer there. In fact the world would be a lot more peaceful if everyone dedicated a little more time to being in bed. Don't you find that when you repeat a word so many times it loses its meaning? Bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed, bed... Anyway, I love it. Do you?

Yes, I hate sleeping on other peoples beds (barring nice hotels), nothing is better sleeping in your own bed though!!
Geo V Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 I had the flat decorated before Xmas and had to sleep on the sofa for a few days and I must admit, going back to the bed was a great feeling as it cured the back ache that the sofa gave me! Im not fussy though as I prefer the bed at the girlfriends house. I dont know how those pesky females do it but everything is always fluffed up right and looks good !! Also, she supplies bacon sarnies in bed after a session and you dont get that at my place

Suffolk_fox Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Q: If someone stays at your house, do you give up your bed and kip on the sofa? Or do they end up on the sofa?
The People's Hero Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Q: If someone stays at your house, do you give up your bed and kip on the sofa? Or do they end up on the sofa? Blatantly THEY end up on the sofa, otherwise that's TWO people who don't get to sleep in their own bed.

Dr The Singh Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Correct. And the guest should know that anyway. My Mrs always offrs our bed, which get's my tits up even if the guest(s) insist on taking the air bed!!!
Stuliasz Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 Bed is fantastic, but its always harder to get out of than to get into. When you are waking up to a cold room that is anyway.
Suffolk_fox Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 My Mrs always offrs our bed, which get's my tits up even if the guest(s) insist on taking the air bed!!! Yeah, my missus does that, hence my question. If I was staying at a friend's house, I would find it a tad creepy to sleep in their bed, in their bedroom. <shudder> But apparently, it is good manners where Mrs SF comes from. I have lost count of the number of couches I have woken up on whilst at friends houses.
