bigneville Posted 24 January 2007 Author Posted 24 January 2007 What do you think? I think its rubbish... Why would Chelski want Baros???
JoeyB Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 I think its rubbish... Why would Chelski want Baros??? to score goals and he knows the prem unlike shev"what a waste of money"chenko
bigneville Posted 24 January 2007 Author Posted 24 January 2007 But when has Baros ever been a prolific goal scorer? He needs about 10 chances to score a goal...
lildave3 Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 to score goals and he knows the prem unlike shev"what a waste of money"chenko How many goals did he score for Villa? Not many.
MC Prussian Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 SkySports... Yes? No? I don't know? Who gives a...?
JoeyB Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 How many goals did he score for Villa? Not many. thats what hey said when there was 1st talk of him going to the chelski
Joe. Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 could of been a good move if he would of done Are you for real Joe? I think he's scored 1 goal in the Premiership this season, hardly Chelsea standards. Shevchenk is miles better than him, he has just needed time to find his feet.
Flynny Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 "Just after the game in the tunnel he told me that he wanted me to join the team and asked me if I was interested. I told him so. But it did not happen in the end." Is that allowed?
lcfc_jme Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 Poor. He'd work harder than Shevchenko probably, but as far as scoring more goals goals? Give me a break. Baros is hardly a great goalscorer and I doubt that'd have changed if he'd have gone to Chelsea.

He seems like a right t*sser (Baros) and you can see Sheva really wants to do well and be succesful at Chelsea. He looked devastated when his number came up last night.

He looked devastated when his number came up last night. Course he did. He was having his best game since joining Chelsea, and for the first time in a while he was on for a hat-trick. I'd be pretty devastated if I was having my best game for a club, was on for my first hat-trick for them and then got taken off!! Baros is a right tosser that much is obvious. Like Elvis, he works hard, but doesn't do an awful lot when he has the ball, and isn't exactly a great goalscorer.
Webbo Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 he could be on a huge bonus if he plays a full game lmao i bet abramovic was bricking it.

For £30million two goals should be the absolute minimum.
lcfc_jme Posted 24 January 2007 Posted 24 January 2007 Yeah, but come on, it's only fooking Wycombe! For £30million two goals should be the absolute minimum. I know what you're saying, and I too was happy to take the piss because it was against Wycombe: Exhibit A (from the Sheva scores thread) All hail King Shevchenko for his awesome performance and two goals against the mighty, mighty Wycombe. He'll definitely find the Premiership easy after a performance like that --- I was just saying I'd be visibly upset/unimpressed if I was finally having a decent game for a new club and could have scored a hat-trick, but was taken off before I managed to do so

And I suppose it's a bit rich coming from us taking the piss out of Wycombe!

Maybe you haven't read the thread it came from then? Aye I suppose we're not in any position to take the piss out of Wycombe, especially in terms of cup competitions. We could have done with somebody as poor as Shevchenko that afternoon
