Joe. Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 That was definitely the besy Top Gear I've seen. It's always good when they do those challenges but especially when they do a feature- length one. Top class
dandannieldanok Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 And the shower in his car! television perfection Excellent moment in a very good show. Never realised what a dump America is outside of the tourist hotspots. Like JC said it is amazing how the richest nation has failed to deal with the hurricane in New Orleans.
Leonisco Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Bollocks I missed it. I'll have to get it off On Demand this week then. Agree with you all, it is an excellent programme, although alot of it does seem like it's been scripted.

The state of New Orlean is still amazing even a year on.
The People's Hero Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Excellent moment in a very good show. Never realised what a dump America is outside of the tourist hotspots. Like JC said it is amazing how the richest nation has failed to deal with the hurricane in New Orleans. Disgusting really. So little has been done. Brilliant programme though... it always leaves me wondering how much of it is genuine/set up. Having said that, it's so entertaining, it really doesn't matter.
Matt Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 One of, If not the best programme on TV. Can't think of anything else that's really that good! Love it. Thank god Richard Hammond is ok, although he does look abit ill to me (Big Eyes, Very thin, e.t.c) Guarantee's laugh as well!
Leonisco Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 That was definitely the besy Top Gear I've seen. It's always good when they do those challenges but especially when they do a feature- length one. Top class Nah, best one ever was the Winter Olympics Special. About pissed myself after Hammond had taken ages building that snow barrier, then Clarkson comes up and tells him he's put it in front of the wrong ski slope.
samingram_uk Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Could this be the best program on the tele?? entertainment wise?

About pissed myself after Hammond had taken ages building that snow barrier, then Clarkson comes up and tells him he's put it in front of the wrong ski slope. Yeah that one was great too but I think this one just pips it.

Nah my favorite was when they went camping, The ran over someone's tent, They set there camper on fire, and got chucked of the campsite. Funny as fuk!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I preferred the Winter Olympics one, especially when Hammond was drawing that line on the ski slope but kept slipping down and the line was all wonky. It was funnier than it sounds, honest!

Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 That was actually James May, like I said earlier Hammond was building the snow barrier at the bottom. Hmm... I think you're wrong. Is there any way we can settle this, outside of a duel?

Tommeh Posted 11 February 2007 Author Posted 11 February 2007 The caravaning trip and Tonights american holiday were the funniest IMO On tonights when Richard nearly drove into the alligator lake then Jezza pushed James down!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Shit, it appears I was wrong. Evidence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2yCHHuX-hk
dandannieldanok Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 The caravaning trip and Tonights american holiday were the funniest IMO I have to agree although personally my favourites in past series are when they have raced across Europe. Not that funny I admit, but having gone through Europe on road with my family I just like the excitement.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Ha! I win again. Again? By the way, I was thinking of the bit on 3:56 in that clip when Hammond is trying to dig into the snow and he keeps slipping down.
