I'm pretty sure bluesy-rock is what they do. From what I've heard of them I was pretty impressed myself.
MC Prussian Posted 22 February 2007 Posted 22 February 2007 The two Ohians sound like Jimi Hendrix never really died. Great stuff. How do you like the insane drum beat on "Set You Free"?
Leicfox Posted 22 February 2007 Author Posted 22 February 2007 That must be on a different album from what i had on. Top stuff though. And thanks James the blue.
hairy Posted 22 February 2007 Posted 22 February 2007 All their stuff sounds similar. They did a covers album last year. Covers of tracks from the same blues artist which I think is their best but others disagree. Basically you cant go wrong with any of it. They are touring soon too.
placidcasual Posted 22 February 2007 Posted 22 February 2007 Junior Kimbrough was the artist they covered. I think i have seem them 11 times. Well worth seeing them. All of their albums are pretty decent. Thickfreakness is superb though. Whilst we are on bands from Akron, Ohio. The Pretenders Devo Huh. Just noticed the thread on Devo as well. Must be Akron day.
Leicfox Posted 18 March 2008 Author Posted 18 March 2008 Just got their new album, Attack And Release. Same as before but still very good.
