lollol

like leeds this makes me laugh to, and some part of me wants pardew to stay up and curbishly to go down. But i think they will be both playing leicester next season. Anyone think they still have a chance?

And is it cruel to laugh at the cockneys :o

I couldn't care less what happens with West Ham

I don't really like them - they're fans are too cocky from last season.

I hope Charlton stay up along with Watford - though I can admit Watford are as good as down now.

I like Man City but it'd be funny to see them relegated

Don't get me started on Sheff Utd..

Sheffield United will stay up.

Lovely.

The bottom three will be the ones to go down... although Man City might dip into the danger zone if they don't get their act together.

Glad about Wigan and Sheffield though.

Erh why?? One reason to hate sheffield united is becuase of their cockhead manager!!

Yeah but he's a cockhead you love to hate, and Premiership means more media attention for him.

I'm torn on this. I want West Ham to go down because their fans are dire, but I feel sorry for Alan Pardew. Even though I don't really rate him, I just think he's been given an almost impossible job and if he keeps them up I won't be unhappy. At the same time I want to see Charlton stay up and Pardew vindicated, and I'd like Watford to stay up too. Oh well.

I wish they'd sack Aidy Boothroyd so we could nab him.

no offence meant to Watford or anything but i don't think they were ready for the prem, personally i think they needed to stay in this league for another season then go up.

be great to see them go down tho so we can laugh at Gareth Williams. was leaving us this season really the right thing to do? :dunno:

I'm sure that they were ready to go up. Winning the play-offs generally means you are, look at Leeds now. That means you wernt ready. lol

Gareth Williams made the right decsion for himself (£Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£). He obviously wanted prem football for a few months (£Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£)

With West Hams relegation almost certain this might just make the FA think harder about deducting points so that it sets an example.:P

I know what, events at Upton Park are hardly showing Curbishley in the most glowing managerial light - I feel for him but I'm mighty grateful he didn't turn up at Leicester and sincerely hope the thought never enters MM's had.

You have to wonder if Harry Rednapp might get the nod though before too long.

i dont think that Harry will get the boot just yet, i think after all that he has done for the club i dont think that they would sack him.

also even if they are in a bit of a rut, he can pull them out of it. with another summer of spending harry rednapp will have a decent squad.

The FA should drag it on until next season and then deduct the points

That would be a right result for us West Ham -12 points at the start of the season :P

Today sky sports kept saying you have to feel sorry for west ham, and i was saying no i don't. Their fans really get on my nerves for starters thinking they have a divine right to be in europe never mind the premiership, don't get me wrong their fans are vocal and some of the best home support, but they are so perfectic. Anyway well done tottenham great game as well

Superb game, West Ham just didn't have it in them to keep the lead.

In a way I feel sorry for Alan Curbishley and Alan Pardew. It has just goes to show that sacking Pardew was harsh because the team have not improved one bit since he left. The team are a joke to be quite frank.

Old Eggy and co. must be drowning their sorrows tonight wondering what the hell they let themselves in for....

Eggy has set himself up to be the man who turned West Ham around.

The team was abysmal before he took control, he's had little time to fix it and his manager has had a bastard of a time with injury and a dressing room he never had a cat in hell's chance of having.

The rumours about the gambling addicted players and the lack of togetherness in the squad are looking quite true at present. They motivated themselves for a new manager in a game against the division leaders. Yet they couldn't get themselves going against two teams they just had to beat to stand any chance of survival.

It's quite apparent that the team is in desperate need of clear out come the summer. Bargain basement shopping for teams such as ourselves, no doubt.

Upon clearing out the no-hopers and big-heads (Reo-Coker will be off to Man U, doubtless) they can rebuild the squad properly with decent players and return quickly.

Eggy can easily point to the fact that the troubles began long before he joined - approximately on the August 31st if I'm not mistaken, is where it all began.

I want Alan Curbishley to succeed somewhere... and prove he's capable of handling big players... then perhaps the FA will realize Steve the Smiler McClaren wasn't all that.

Pardew was in a lose lose situation at west ham and their fans were constantly blocking the 606 phone ins week in week out complaining about him. I really like the guy and he has done well as a manager. As for curbishly he inherted a few too many half-heartish players who couldn't give two shits what happens to west ham aslong as they get their packet at the end of the week. I hope charlton do get out of and Man city have got a tough run in so you never know. :dunno:

They play Arsenal and Chelsea over the Easter weekend.

Then a trip to Old Trafford on the final day.

So as long as they remain within 9 points of the drop, they could just do it... lol

I wanted Pardew here.... sadly, Les Reed 'did the right thing' (... he says stepped aside, everyone else says sacked). lol

I used to like West Ham, had a lot of respect for them.

I would like to see them go down now, disgrace getting rid of pardew im glad Charlton stuffed them the other week.

And they do actually deserve to go down, they've been terrible this season.

The only good thing about this club right now are there fans, i feel quite sorry for them.

i thought i would bring this topic back up as i hate the hammers.

Dean Ashton is out for the rest of the season, so no boost their for them.

I stil think the premier league/sky wants west ham to stay up instead of the others

Both the BBC and Sky do seem to go on about West Ham alot. I don't think it's to do with them wanting them to stay up but more to do with them being surprised they are in the posistion thay are. With them being a big club and with the new owner and last years great season it is just a surprise to see them struggling and therefore more focus is bound to be on them from Sky and the BBC.

yeah i suppose so. I bet they get loads of games on sky next season, and the main feature on the championshit. Which will mean i hate them more. They will probably go straight back up as well
