fox123 Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Cheltenham 3.15 1st 4 Inglis Drever 5-1 2nd 7 Mighty Man (FR) 10-3 3rd 2 Blazing Bailey 8-1
Ric Flair Posted 15 March 2007 Author Posted 15 March 2007 Never fancied BJK i thought mighty man was unlucky! Another 2nd place for me, just a shame I had it on the nose. There goes my double aswell. Still only a couple of quid down for today. I might now double up with Opera Mundi and Gungadu. Are you laying Gungadu? Seems to be ridiculous odds for a horse in a race that often is classed as a lottery. 4 mile race!!!

Yea gungadu a lay! didnt you have blazing bailey to e/w?
Head Honcho Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Never fancied BJK i thought mighty man was unlucky! Pretty shocking ride from McCoy though he should have been up with the pace for at least the first couple of hurdles and then dropped behind. He was much too close to the horse in front of him. The hurdle just popped up he didn't see it in time.

fox123 Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Did the favourite get a mention Opera Mundi ran a very poor race, never looked like winning
Ric Flair Posted 15 March 2007 Author Posted 15 March 2007 Another disgusting day's gambling for me. My only real hope now is Adamant Approach in the 5.20, but even if that wins i'll still be down a fair bit for the week. Can't even remember what i've gone for in the 4.40 I know i've got a small bet on Gungadu, but not much.
Head Honcho Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Just stuck a fiver on Adamant Approach @ 14/1 was thinking of doing Kadoun but McCoy is awful this year Quick get on Kadoun he's bound to win now

fox123 Posted 16 March 2007 Posted 16 March 2007 Last day of Cheltenham and im going to be quite cautious about laying favourites today, theres some class horses running none more so than Kauto Star in the gold cup, to be honest its a pretty poor gold cup this year, and i really cant see this one being beat today! I do like the look on Punjabi in the 1st and may have a small e/w bet on it and a lay of the favourite!
Maybes Posted 16 March 2007 Posted 16 March 2007 2pm Punjabi e/w @17/2 2.35pm Sir Jim Shandy(i think) e/w @ 10/1 3.15pm State of Play e/w @ 7/1

Im just going to listen to the so called experts on C4 and the racing channel and make my mind up as the race approaches instead of putting bets on early to get the value and wishing I hadnt nearer the race as there chances are almost dashed! Come on the Punjabi!!!!
