Matt Posted 25 January 2005 Posted 25 January 2005 hmmmmm on Dickov's return if he does return I have my "Theres only one Dickov" shirt, now with abit of work with a perminent marker work, should I cross out "OV" and write "HEAD" or should I cross out "DICKOV" and write "JUDAS"?!?

Matt Posted 25 January 2005 Posted 25 January 2005 The judas one sounds good to me mate Its a pity i chucked my City shirt with Dickov on the back.I did not want it in the house 58993 Well I was tempted to burn mine but its at the bottom of one of draws - This isn't an acutally City shirt by the way, its a white t-shirt with a picture of his face (ewww) and its got "Theres only one Dickov" on it. what about heskey, lennon and muzzy are they judas's aswell 58996 Nope Heskey - He was on the up and to be fair what chance of playing for England did he have stuck at Leicester?! Although I hated it when he left though! IMO He pushed himself to far playing for Liverpool, Liverpool were too good for him! -He supported Liverpool as a kid...if you played for a tema and the team you support wanted you would you move? Lennon - No, wanted to follow the man who made his name, and its the same situation as Heskey - He supported Celtic. Muzzy...JUDAS?!?!? WTF Don't ever say those words in the same sentance! If we could afford a new contract for him he would still be here, we couldn't and for the sake of the club he had to move on! Now...What did I say at the start of this "I do not want to get into an argement over Dickov!"

Muzzy will forever be a legend Whereas Dickov is a trator and it makes me shudder thinking of him

Scow Posted 25 January 2005 Posted 25 January 2005 Back on topic... Relegated Southampton - I think Palace have the edge as they have a settled team with a consistent goalscorer. Redknapp will pick them up a few good home results, but his teams always seem to be lacking away from home... Norwich - A battling team, but they remind me of us last season. A team capable of turning draws in to wins. They simply don't have the quality. WBA - Bryan Robson, 'nuff said... Promoted Ipswich - The best team going forward in this division and have tightened up defensively this season. Sunderland - A strong functional team who grind out results. Solid defensively, competitive in midfield, and decent in attack with Stewart and Elliott. Reading - Lively team with some talented players. Sidwell is one of the best midfielders in this division, along with Harper. Foster, Kitson and Ferdinand provide plenty of quality upfront.
