Matt Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Liverpool 2 - 0 Arsenal Crouch 2x Love it! Oh and what a surprise, Lehmann got booked at H/T for moaning at the referee And yes before anyone says, Liverpool are fairly bad with the amount of foreigners in there team, mostly being spanish, but at least they play the English players that they do have unlike Arsenal... And because of that is my reason why I don't mind Liverpool but hate Arsenal...I don't mind foreigners in the English game, its one of the reason the English leagues are good and without them the league would be rubbish, Its the amount of foreigners Arsenal have and the lack of English players they have let alone not play! Anyway lets not get into that arguement AGAIN.
lookwhaticando Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 fooking brilliant. Great third goal... Agger scores again. Quality player, Agger.
lookwhaticando Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 There aren't that many Spanish players, though, are there? Alonso and Reina are permanent fixtures in the side... but there's not many others, really. Luis Garcia but he's a bit part player... and injured. Edit: Also Arbeloa... that's it... four Spaniards in the first team squad. Besides... they have plenty of home nations players, a few of whom play quite a lot. Carragher, Gerrard, Bellamy, Crouch, Pennant, Finnan (if you're willing to count Ireland), Fowler. But yeah... let's not go there.
Matt Posted 31 March 2007 Author Posted 31 March 2007 Liverpool 4 - 1 Arsenal Crouch Hat-Trick. Brilliant!
Guest Gist Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Liverpool 4 - 1 ArsenalCrouch Hat-Trick. Brilliant! Arsenal are on a bad run at the minute for their standards, quite surprising.
Matt Posted 31 March 2007 Author Posted 31 March 2007 Love the fact the when Arsenal win, or are winning you can't start a thread about Arsenal without getting into an arguement with someone who "doesn't mind Arsenal" but when there losing there no-where to be found. Spose there just like real Arsenal fans, there only willing to talk, be loud during matches, come out the woodwork when there winning!

I often want Aresenal to win but not against Liverpool.
MC Prussian Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Arsenal are on a bad run at the minute for their standards, quite surprising. They totally deserve it. Wait for more comments in Phube's Arsenal Bashing Thread.

Maybes Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 He's big, He's red, His feet stick out the bed! Peter Crouch, Peter Crouch
lcfc_jme Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Wonder what jme's doing right about now... crying into a pint, doubtless. I'd switched my TV off, stormed out the house and went town with the Mrs ! Not even the comfort of a few pints would have made that better. Arsenal were absolutely dreadful today for their normal standards going forward. Completely unimpressed by that.
Spee-d Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Arsenal had a lot of posession but never threatened going forward. Liverpools wide players were excellent and Crouch was always in the box. Liverpool played great football though and deserved the win, but that goal margin probably didnt tell the whole story. I still think Arsenal could get third place.
lildave3 Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Fantastic result. So glad Arsenal lost...again! As for Crouch, i'm not his biggest fan but after today i just might be
lcfc_jme Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Fantastic result. So glad Arsenal lost...again! As for Crouch, i'm not his biggest fan but after today i just might be Top marks to Crouch today. He was in the right place at the right time more often than not, and the defence couldn't cope with him. His second goal was a beastly header, and he'd be a deadly striker if he could pull those out of the hat more often. Arsenal for third place though still.
Joe. Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Crouchy Well played, glad he grabbed a hat- trick today. Let's hope he can grab some goals for England seeing as we need them so badly at the moment!
