Matt Posted 27 January 2005 Posted 27 January 2005 We all knew he was on his way out but http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~619533,00.html Goalkeeper Kevin Pressman has parted company with Leicester City. The 37-year-old has had his contract terminated at the Walkers Stadium by mutual consent. After 19 years at Sheffield Wednesday, Pressman arrived in the East Midlands in the summer after putting pen-to-paper on a one-year deal. He went on to make 15 appearances for the Foxes in the absence of the injured Ian Walker. Pressman's departure paves the way for Canadian International Lars Hirschfeld to join up with the Foxes from Dundee United.
spirefox Posted 27 January 2005 Posted 27 January 2005 He actually pulled off one of the best saves I've ever seen (Header by Kuqi from 6 yards going in the top corner) and commited the worst howler (falling on his arse to let in Preston goalie's hopeful punt)Still the safest kicker we had as well,Taylor and Walker are both piss poor.

Shum Posted 28 January 2005 Posted 28 January 2005 To be fair to the big man, he made some big time balls ups, but he also made 4 or 5 of the best saves I ever seen from a City goalkeeper! Good luck to the man, whatever he does, whether it be carrying on playing football or going into the pie industry!

spirefox Posted 28 January 2005 Posted 28 January 2005 I once saw Kev & family in Frankie & Benny's in Ches. I expected him to order a salad or pasta but guess what? It was steak, fries ,onion rings and garlic bread .Anybody surprised?.
Stuliasz Posted 28 January 2005 Posted 28 January 2005 Stats I think the turning point for Kev was the Preston league game where he made the error. Kev and the crowd have been in a nervous circle that was never going to be broken so I think it is for the best that he has gone.
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 28 January 2005 Posted 28 January 2005 For a guy of his age he did do a pretty good job, sure he made a big howler against Preston but we all knows Walks has done the same in the past... it's just a pity he wasn't 27 rather than 37. We need to build for the future now with younger players like Hirshfeld but I will always remember the appearances he did make for us, and I will always remember that goal. Just hilarious.
