WIN TICKETS TO LEICESTER AT PNE

Hi There

With our game against Leicester fast approaching our thoughts are turning to producing our match programme for the game.

This season PNE media are looking to involve the fans, both home and away, as much as possible in the publication and that is where you message board members may be able to help us out.

Rather than producing the same standard old pen pics which get read in every programme at every ground you visit we want you fans to provide us with your opinions on your players.

We aren't asking you to criticise members of your squad in any way at all, we want you to tell us who your best players are.

There are five main categories. We'd like you to tell us which Leicester player fits that category and why.

The categories are as follows...

The Icon - This player is the undisputed star of the team, the player that all opposition teams must fear.

Teacher's Pet - The manager's favourite player, the one who can do no wrong and always seems to be in the team.

Hardnut - The hardman enforcer, might pick up a lot of cards but would give his all for the cause.

Mr Consistency - This player will never let the side down. He's always there when it matters whatever the weather.

Wonderkid - This kid will be an international superstar in five years time. He'll take your team to the top or be sold for massive profits.

Everyone who gets a contribution published will get a mention in the programme and the fan that comes up with the best answers will win a pair of tickets for the game.

There are two ways you can respond, either by putting your reply in this thread or if you would prefer email me at [email protected] putting Leicester Player Profiles in the subject title. If you don't wish to be named in the match programme please indicate.

Many Thanks

The Icon - At a push, Iain Hume (striker)

Teacher's Pet - Quite a few could get this, Stephen Hughes (Midfielder)

Hardnut - No question, Danny Tiatto (Midfielder)

Mr Consistency - Paddy Kisnorbo (Defender)

Wonderkid - Levi Porter (Midfielder)

The Icon - Gareth McAuley Or Iain Hume- Signed from Lincoln. nobody expected him to do anything but has been one of, if not the best player this year. Iain Hume has scored 13 in a poor goal scoring side.

Teacher's Pet - Andy Johnson - Always seems to make the starting line up even tough there is better options

Hardnut - Paddy McCarthy OR Danny Tiatto - They always seem to pick up yellow cards and make hard challenges.

Mr Consistency - Paddy Kisnorbo - Just been very good for us this year. Never lets us down when others do.

Wonderkid - Matty Fryatt OR Richard Stearman Or Levi Porter - Both had strange seasons this year but Fryatts goal scoring last year and Stearmans love for the club shown last season. Porter runs at people and shows alot of promise

The Icon - Iain Hume, always puts in 100% and the best out of a poor bunch this year.

Teacher's Pet - I'd say Stephen Hughes, always seemed quite pally with Kelly.

Hardnut - Danny Tiatto. Nobody else could get this. Always throws himself about and never backs out of any challenge.

Mr Consistency - Paddy Kisnorbo. Scoring from the back a lot and put in some fantastic performances. Topped by being capped from Austraila.

Wonderkid - Hard to say after the season. Maybe Richard Stearman. Not his best season this year but a lot of big clubs have being watching him. Also Levi Porter has shown potential.

The Icon - Milan Manderic. Other teams probably laugh at our players.

Teacher's Pet - Anyone over 30 odd.

Hardnut - Tiatto - more nut than hard.

Mr Consistency - Elvis Hammond - consistently offside.

Wonderkid - No Comment - start a long unnecessary thread otherwise  .
