dandannieldanok Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Two of the Leicester City squad admitted today that the players had to take some of the responsibility for Robert Kelly's sacking after the poor run of results. Alan Maybury said: "It is always disappointing when a manager leaves the club and this is the second time I've gone through it here (I wonder why when managers keep faith with certain defensive clutzs's). "But, as players, we have to take responsibility. The manager sets us up and puts us out there but it is on the pitch that it counts. "Of late, our performances and results have not been good enough." Andy Johnson agreed, saying: "I think we (you did your bit more than most others) did let him down. "I think Rob prepared us in every way he could. We as a squad should take some responsibility (Amen). "Nigel Worthington has come in and it's been very positive right from the off. We are all looking forward to the game tomorrow. We can't affect what's happened (you could have at the time, twat). "We have let ourselves down in recent weeks (really!?!). "We need to get back to winning ways (well I never)."
lookwhaticando Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Andy Johnson just needs to fcuk off. I'd be much happier then.
Daggers Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 I'd rather Johnson go ****s himself before ****sing off to be honest
Thracian Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 I'd rather Johnson go ****s himself before ****sing off to be honest If you're that keen to watch another Johnson cock-up!

Although saying this, the players seem to be looking forward to the game tomorow, and i think therefore they will play it with a high tempo and it should ( hopefully ) be a quick tempo'd entertaining game that we will probably score goals in. I think to do well tomorow, we need to use porter and hume as much as we possibly can as they both have blistering pace which is higly useful in a high tempo game ( obviously ) porter to assist a hume goal tomorow i fancy
lookwhaticando Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 I reckon we should contact the local MP and get him to submit one of those much maligned 'Early Day Motions' (EDMs) that slags off Andy Johnson for being a useless willy puller. Some MPs do it for their local football club, why can't we?
Master Fox Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 I think Johnson is a great player. I hope we can hang onto him with all the big clubs sniffing around for his signature
Scow Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 I think Johnson deserves a contract for next season - at Forest. Afterall, he would be pivotal in a stagnating League 1 side.

Daggers Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 It's amazing that they don't understand how much fault "we" apportion to them for the piss-poor showing this season, already. I'm going to laugh so much with each announcement of each player being booted out over the summer. Laugh till my tits hurt.

It make them all static, they're like little red raw bullets

It make them all static, they're like little red raw bullets You could try cutting the nipples off a medium to large sized dog - they can be placed over your sore buds and make excellent protectors. Nike are planning to do that very same thing in next seasons sports clothing range.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Journalists stick microphones under the noses of the players a few minutes after they finish training. No wonder they come up with a load of bollocks! The last thing I'd want to see after running around for a couple of hours is Jon Barber standing there with his sound kit shoved in my face.
