Joe. Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 I know it's been mentioned before on a thread but I thought it deserved one of it's own. Liverpool (and AC I assume) have been given a mere 17,000 tickets for the Champions league Final. That's 34,00 together out of a stadium with 63,000 capacity available. Therefore 29,000 tickets going to corporate and sponsors. It's disgraceful. <_< This is just one case. Everytime a final is played it's always the same. Discuss...
Floating Fox Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 Its the same for the FA cup final..they've got about 20k each. I think we should all thank people like Ched who are in the "Fa fooking family". Bunch of mugs.

Bunch of mugs. I was eagerly awaiting your post in this thread seeing as I know exactly how much you love the FA and Modern Football. I personally think it's an absolute focking joke. The game should be about the fans, and the vast majority of the seats should go to those same fans who turn up every week. And I agree - people like Ched are the reason the FA believe they're doing things right with the new Wemberlee

I'm not saying it's right but I was offered the chance to go to the FA Cup final at Wembley would you turn it down ?
lcfc_jme Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 Shut up the pair of ya.I'm not saying it's right but I was offered the chance to go to the FA Cup final at Wembley would you turn it down ? Yes. You're just as bad as the majority of Chelsea "fans" who will be there.
Simi Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 Yes. You're just as bad as the majority of Chelsea "fans" who will be there. You say you would of turned it down? Is this before or after you begged me for my other ticket
lcfc_jme Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 You say you would of turned it down? Is this before or after you begged me for my other ticket Just making you feel wanted Ched. I have no intentions on going to that place to watch "We represent everywhere but Manchester" United FC vs Chelski. Poor showing really mate. I'd be looking at a way to sell the tickets for a major profit. Just like the FA.
Spee-d Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 I heard 20000 were for sponsors and the like and 9000 for neurals. Why cant the neutral watch the game at home and let the real fans go. 17000 - some of the loyal fans will miss out. Then again English fans always manage to get more tickets somehow. For example the final in Istanbul 2 years ago, three quarters of the stadium were Liverpool fans.

lildave3 Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 Jamie, be honest, you wouldn't turn down a free ticket for the first FA Cup final at the new wembley.
Floating Fox Posted 4 May 2007 Posted 4 May 2007 Jamie, be honest, you wouldn't turn down a free ticket for the first FA Cup final at the new wembley. I would. I would sell the fcker. Ched had to pay as well surely?
Ricey Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 To make things even worse giving so many tickets to sponsors and neutrals just fuels the black market, an awful lot of these sponsors/neutrals sell their tickets for 4x the selling price. So these football governing bodies are disrespecting the fans and feuling the black market at the same time, good work!
PAULCFC Posted 5 May 2007 Posted 5 May 2007 Same for the euro cup final in the rugby.Theres about enough tickets to cover the tigers season ticket holders and thats it i think!
Joe. Posted 5 May 2007 Author Posted 5 May 2007 I saw some tickets for the Champions League Final going for 2300 Euros or something like that. It's insane...
