Did it somehow make things taste better?

You are not supposed to use chipped mugs. Something about chemicals getting into your drink :(

Funny how men seem to have special relationships with Mugs.

Funny how i've read 2 posts in 10 seconds from you that began with 'Funny how'

 Now you've got me at it <_<

Yes, its colours cheered me up, hence the drink seemed to taste better! :)

i always prefer a white cup; i have a dark blue mug and i can never get the milk/coffee ratio right. in the cup that got smashed, i knew where to fill the water up to, to allow enough space for the optimum amount of milk. :(

^ further to that, it (the cup) always contained the perfect cuppa. and it also appeared from nowhere years and years ago, i have no idea where it came from, or even where i was living when it did turn up, but i'm mighty glad it did, life will never be the same again :(

I had a dream last night that the handle fell off my mug; I bet a psychologist would love that one.
