What he did wrong was to trust MM and DM when they handed him players and said they were the mutts nutts.

Indeed I even mentioned a period of three months. And on reflection I've no regrets about the departure of Worthington or Kelly for that matter. In fact Kelly told the whole story of his approach to management in that first game against Stoke.
