I doubt he'll be anything special in this division, Fryatt scored goals galore in consistant seasons in league 1 for Walsall, this guy has got 30 in one season and can somehow command that ridiculous transfer fee.

I would hardly call it a ridiculous transfer fee, just look at Darren Bent.

S****horpe United insist Sheffield United have yet to make a formal offer for striker Billy Sharp.

Sharp is expected to rejoin his former club, with Blades chairman Terry Robinson claiming a deal is close to being reached.

On Thursday, Robinson revealed that terms had been agreed with the striker and the finishing touches were being put to the transfer.

"Everything has been agreed, we just have to formally conclude the deal with S****horpe," Robinson had told the club's official website.

"I can't disclose the length of his contract or the transfer fee at this stage, but we will be making a statement in due course."

But S****horpe, who are resigned to losing last season's League One top scorer, say their Championship counterparts have not made a bid.

"We have given permission for Billy to talk to a number of clubs," general manager Jamie Hammond told the club's official website.

"Sheffield United have not made any offer for Billy as far as I'm aware."

Sharp has already spoken to Sheffield Wednesday, Norwich City and Wolves, but favours a return to Bramall Lane.

you would have thought that with the current Premiership appeal they would have thought better of breaking the rules and illegally tapping up a player if that's what has gone one and it certainly sounds like it!!!

Sheffield United have completed the deal which brings S****horpe striker Billy Sharp back to Bramall Lane.

Sharp, 21, left the Blades in August 2005 for £100,000 and returns for an undisclosed fee, with Blades youngster Jonathan Forte joining the Iron.

Sharp's 32 goals last season helped the Iron win promotion to the Championship.

Boss Bryan Robson told Blades' website: "He's Sheffield United through and through and he has the desire I'm looking for at this club."

Blades beat off competition for Sharp from Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves and Preston.

Sharp had left Bramall Lane in 2005 after just two substitute appearances to join S****horpe.

But under the terms of that deal, the Blades will receive 25% of any transfer fee involving the striker.

Blades's chairman Terry Robinson said: "We made it known to Billy's representatives eight weeks ago that we would be interested in bringing him back here.

"Billy's glad to be back, he knows what we're about and we hope he'll score plenty of goals for us."

Hope he flops so badly. After all this hype from near enough every single Championship supporter of who only a fraction have actually seen him kick a ball.

He looks like a player with all the credentials to succeed but how he copes with playing for his hometown club is another thing. Warnock looks a plank for letting him go as a kid a few years back as well lol
