MBK Posted 1 June 2007 Posted 1 June 2007 Huddersfield have won the race to sign striker Danny Cadamarteri. The 27-year-old was available on a free transfer following his release from Leicester and Town claim to have beaten off competition from Millwall and Doncaster to snare the forward. Cadamarteri has been handed a two-year deal and Terriers chief Andy Ritchie has expressed delight at bringing in the forward. "I think it's a real coup - we've been chasing him for a while and it's great to finally get it sorted," Ritchie told the club's official website. "He's had other offers from other clubs, namely Millwall and Doncaster, but he wanted to come here. "I wanted to sign him when I was at Barnsley and he's someone I've been interested in for a while."
Cheese Me Posted 1 June 2007 Posted 1 June 2007 Fair play. Good luck to him, I'll always remember him for the cup game.

Thracian Posted 2 June 2007 Posted 2 June 2007 Apart from our subsequently fruitless obsession with playing Fryatt, fit or not, it remains a mystery why DC didn't feature more.
