Hamilton, the 22-year-old from Stevenage, had exchanged angry words with his team boss Ron Dennis as he returned to the pits, reportedly saying: “Don’t ever f****** do that to me again!†Dennis replied: “Don’t ever f****** speak to me like that again!†Hamilton delivered a final riposte: “Go f****** swivel!â€

It's all kicking off at McLaren!

Top drive today. With only 6 races to go and with Raikkonen getting close surely it won't be long before McLaren have to decide on team orders with maybe Alonso deferring and being Hamilton's 'rear gunner'. If Hamilton beats Alonso in Turkey it'll have to happen - any team in-fighting might just allow Raikkonen to nick it.

Alonso said his own relationship with Hamilton has not declined any further, but revealed that "nobody" in the team is currently talking to his British teammate.
Hungarian Grand Prix winner Lewis Hamilton admitted his relationship with McLaren team-mate Fernando Alonso had hit rock-bottom after Sunday's race.

"He doesn't seem to be speaking to me, so I don't know if he has a problem," said the 22-year-old Hamilton.

"If I walk in and I see him then I will speak to him, but I won't go looking for him and make him feel better."

Hamilton's win came after Alonso was demoted five grid places for holding up his team-mate during qualifying.

The relationship between two-time world champion Alonso - who joined McLaren from Renault this year - and F1 rookie Hamilton has appeared strained since the Briton's astonishing start to his debut season.

606: DEBATE

All that Hamilton has done is display consummate skill and ability in his first season in F1, and in doing so he has unnerved his team-mate

HOMH

In June, McLaren boss Ron Dennis was forced to play down Alonso's comments that the team favoured Hamilton.

Matters came to a head during the build-up to the Hungarian Grand Prix when Spaniard Alonso stayed in the pits just long enough to prevent Hamilton from getting out in time to complete a final qualifying lap.

That came after Hamilton had refused to obey team orders to let Alonso past at the start of qualifying as part of a pre-arranged strategy.

Alonso was angered by the penalty, feeling he had explained to the race stewards why he had stayed in the pits for a further 10 seconds after being given the signal to go.

I guess he [Hamilton] will have a different relationship with the team in the next race, because I don't think they are very happy

Fernando Alonso

"I hope he still speaks to me. I'm easy to get on with. I don't hold grudges over anyone," added Hamilton, who stretched his lead in the drivers' championship to seven points with victory in Hungary.

"But if he doesn't want to speak to me, then that's for him to decide. But I'm open."

Alonso said his relationship with Hamilton had not changed.

"It's the same as before the race," he said.

"Each of us looks at his own interests, trying to do the best race possible, with the best strategy, and I try to do the same with my group of engineers and mechanics.

"But I guess he will have a different relationship with the team in the next race, because I don't think they are very happy, and I will have the same one (relationship)."

Hamilton said he had cleared the air with Dennis, who admitted on Sunday that the tension between the drivers had led to "a very difficult time" for the team.

"We sat down, we spoke about it and came to a mutual understanding and started with a clean slate," said Hamilton, who has known Dennis since he was 10.

"The relationship we have is very strong and something like this is not going to come between us, so we will move on to bigger and better things."

Toro Rosso to confirm Bourdais

Announcement imminent according to reports

Toro Rosso will officially complete its 2008 driver line-up on Wednesday, according to a specialist report on Tuesday.

Multiple Champ Car title winner Sebastien Bourdais has now reached a deal with the Faenza based team to replace Tonio Liuzzi from 2008, the Swiss publication Motorsport Aktuell claimed.

28-year-old Bourdais will join the already-confirmed German rookie Sebastian Vettel in the team, and plans to relocate from Florida to Europe with his wife Claire and their baby daughter Emma.

The publication reported that Bourdais was tying up loose ends with his American employer Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing so that an official announcement could theoretically be made on Wednesday.

Time running out for Prodrive

Some doubts about F1's new team

Real fears about F1's twelfth team for 2008 are now starting to emerge.

The publication motorline.cc reports that although Pedro de la Rosa and Alex Wurz are keen to explore the option of driving for David Richards' fledgling Prodrive outfit next year, they are concerned that the team is running out of time to get ready.

The expected car and engine link-up with McLaren-Mercedes is still yet to be signed, and Prodrive is also yet to announce a sponsor package or name major personnel appointments for its first season in Formula One.

McLaren test driver de la Rosa said: "We have to wait - at present nothing at all is fixed. It is not clear at the moment if there will be a team at all.

"

A mere seven months before the opening grand prix of 2008, Williams' Wurz also admits to having his doubts about Prodrive.

"I am a bit sceptical," the Austrian said, "because it is already very late in the season and we have not heard much from them."

Wurz added that he saw September as a sort of final 'deadline' for Prodrive to send a strong signal about its readiness for 2008.

And it's confirmed:

Toro Rosso confirm Bourdais for 2008

By Pablo Elizalde Friday, August 10th 2007, 09:02 GMT

Scuderia Toro Rosso have confirmed three-time Champ Car champion Sebastien Bourdais will race for the team in 2008.

The Frenchman will join German Sebastian Vettel at the Italian squad next season.

"It has been a long time coming, but here we are," said Bourdais. "I would like to thank everyone at Red Bull for believing in me and giving me this long-awaited opportunity to race in Formula One.

"I must also thank Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing for letting me pursue my dream and allowing me to test for Scuderia Toro Rosso a few times this year."

The 28-year-old Frenchman will be free to join the team after the final round of this year's Champ Car Series on 2 December.

My predictions for the driver line-ups next year:

McLaren - Alonso, Hamilton

Ferrari - Kimi, Massa

BMW - Kubica, Heidfeld

Renault - Piquet Jr, Kovaleinen

Reb Bull - Webber, Coulthard

Honda - Barrichello, Button

Williams - Rosberg, Sutil

Torro Rosso - Vettel, Bourdais

Super Aguri - Sato, Possibly Davidson

Toyota - No idea for both, I reckon at least one will leave, but for now I'll go for Schumacher, Trulli

Spyker - Once again, it's anyones guess but I'll go for Klien, Liuzzi

Prodrive - De La Rosa, Gary Paffett

Briatore linked with QPR takeover

Briatore is Renault's Formula One team boss

Renault Formula One team boss Flavio Briatore is reportedly interested in taking over Queens Park Rangers.

Reports from Italy have linked Briatore and F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone with a joint bid for the club, who narrowly avoided relegation last season.

"We are in the early stages," the 57-year-old was quoted as saying in the Italian press.

"We have had some discussions, but nothing has been signed," added the Renault F1 team boss.

606: DEBATE

My nerves can't afford to believe this until the deal is signed

Ashdown-Ranger

Rangers only just avoided relegation from the Championship last season, and are restricted by the £10m loan they took from the Panama-based ABC Corporation to help them out of administration five years ago.

More than £7m is still owed to club directors and HM Revenue and Customs.

One report suggested that current chairman Gianni Paladini would be allowed to continue to run the club were Ecclestone and Briatore to assume control.

Paladini - who became chairman in the autumn of 2005 after a boardroom coup to oust former incumbent Bill Power - has been willing to sell the club for some time, but has yet to reach an agreement to do so.

When asked whether the deal had been completed, Paladini told the Daily Mail: "I wish it was true."

The QPR Supporters Trust, meanwhile, believe it would be "good news" were Ecclestone and Briatore to step in.

Co-ordinator Tracy Stent said: "The club needs to find someone to re-finance the structure of the ABC loan. It is imperative that something is done about this."

But former England and QPR striker Les Ferdinand, who would like to see Paladini and his board of directors removed, wants any prospective new owners to prove they have the club's future at heart.

"You don't want someone buying the club just because it is in the west London area, and they see it as an investment.

"That is my main concern. These people might have a lot of money, but how would they invest it?"

In July, Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore were linked with a possible takeover of Arsenal.

Eccelstone, who has amassed a reported £3bn fortune over the years knows former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein, who left the club in acrimonious circumstances in April.

The 76-year-old said then: "If somebody offers me something I think is good value, I will have a go. I'm interested in anything if it's cheap enough."

Think of the money they'd have...

Spyker considers sale of F1 team

Spyker have scored no points in the first 11 races of the 2007 season

Dutch sports car maker Spyker could sell some or all of its Formula One team as part of a refinancing plan.

The firm said that negative publicity about its credit worthiness had forced it to seek additional funds to keep its finances liquid in the short-term.

A Spyker statement said: "Of the various refinancing scenarios being considered, the (partial) sale of the Formula One team is one possibility."

Spyker F1 team director Michiel Mol is considering buying the racing outfit.

Mol is therefore stepping down as interim chief executive of the parent company to avoid a conflict of interest.

The sports car company, founded in 2000, is expecting to make a financial loss this year, with the F1 operation costing more to run and generation lower revenues than anticipated.

Typical

There'll be plenty takers if they do though.

I think it's good yes

No, champcar is better, especially with the new patch.

And it's a matter of opinion really about the easiness to drive, I personally find them a bit tricky, understeering a bit. But I do enjoy driving them

You could install it, and if you don't like it just delete the vehicle files and rfm files for it to uninstall it
