The People's Hero Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Slots are useful <Thracian> About as useful as a curry in a dishwasher during a storm! </Thracian>
Lord Nibblington Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 <Thracian>About as useful as a curry in a dishwasher during a storm! </Thracian> I'd find that very useful. As useful as a pot in a sink in a hurracaine of badgers.
Daggers Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 <Thracian>About as useful as a curry in a dishwasher during a storm! </Thracian>
Alexikokopops Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 <Thracian>About as useful as a curry in a dishwasher during a storm! </Thracian> What about if you want a curry but you're in a storm and the only shelter is a dishwasher? Now you just look foolish.
The People's Hero Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 What about if you want a curry but you're in a storm and the only shelter is a dishwasher? Now you just look foolish. <Thracian> Well, you'd know all about looking foolish! It's as I used to say to a team of fish whom I coached to play squash to such a level that they'd regularly beat much larger animals with fully developed limbs, 'Alex is foolish' - and you know what. Not a single one of them disagreed with me. And that's why Andy King is the best. </Thracian>

Lord Nibblington Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Do you have some kind of random word generator for your Thracian paradoys? Just wondering, like.
The People's Hero Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Do you have some kind of random word generator for your Thracian paradoys?Just wondering, like. You won't believe this, but I actually employ Thracian to write them for me! Can't you tell by the level of impact?
Lord Nibblington Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 You won't believe this, but I actually employ Thracian to write them for me!Can't you tell by the level of impact? Yes. No. In that order.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 You won't believe this, but I actually employ Thracian to write them for me!Can't you tell by the level of impact? Completely meaningless sentence accompanied by whistling smiley.
The People's Hero Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Completely meaningless sentence accompanied by whistling smiley. That's genius and completely overshadows my work of this morning.
Guest Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 God help the people who'll be sitting near you next season then! You should pity the poor blighters. I have every intention of being the most annoying supporter ever known. I shall arrive at my seat at 2 seconds to kick off in a drunken haze, and then incessantly moan for the duration. My pessimism will be displayed, in full, to all and sundry. I also plan to make use of my elbows in annoying my immediate neighbours.

Lord Nibblington Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Pah! I thought I had grumpiness to a tee. Or is it tea? Which reminds me, I want a cuppa. Milk and two sugars please! How can anyone be grumpy with a cup of tea in hand? I wish I had a cup of tea. And the means to make a cup.
Kent Fox Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Pah! I thought I had grumpiness to a tee. Or is it tea? Which reminds me, I want a cuppa. Milk and two sugars please! Two sugars? And here was me thinking that you were sweet enough
The People's Hero Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 AoWW and now Lisa too! You're quite the charmer, Kentfox!
Guest Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Two sugars? And here was me thinking that you were sweet enough I was feeling queasy enough, after last nights efforts, but the nausea levels have increased somewhat.
The People's Hero Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 I was feeling queasy enough, after last nights efforts, but the nausea levels have increased somewhat. Can I sort this out with a simple, yet effective... 'you're alright, you, love'.
Lord Nibblington Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 AoWW and now Lisa too! You're quite the charmer, Kentfox! It's all to do with being a Kentish Man. Or a man of Kent. Or something.
Guest Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Can I sort this out with a simple, yet effective... 'you're alright, you, love'. I don't know. I want a Maccy D's. Why do I want Maccy D's after alcohol abuse? Have I not punished my body enough?
The People's Hero Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 I don't know. I want a Maccy D's. Why do I want Maccy D's after alcohol abuse? Have I not punished my body enough? What were you drinking last night? My new girlfriend got completely spannered last night and called me many times. Hilarious. She called me this morning, wasn't feeling quite so clever then, eh? Hahahaha! Anyways... old sensible TPH hasn't touched a drop this week.

Would that in anyway be related to the fact that you're broke?

We had a rather nice Chablis and a good Chenin Blanc with dinner, then picked up a box of Chenin Blanc on the way home, which we had to try. It would be rude not to.
