sdb Posted 12 July 2007 Posted 12 July 2007 definate bottom half team, Southgate'sa pretty poor manager imo. brought in 2 good strikers but have lost viduka and i can see Yakubu going too - i'm not sure he wants to be there. Poor defensively too - Woodgate aside, and an ok midfield. They'll survive but nothing more

It could be a long hard winter ahead for them.. It's hard going from 1 of the lads to gaffer in any walk of life. Southgate always struck me as an intelligent player and I always thought he'd make a good manager, can't see them making Europe though, probably around 10/12th.
