The squad looks so much better with them out
Scow Posted 15 February 2005 Posted 15 February 2005 You have to bear in mind that we've also purchased some players as well. I imagine Ipswich are only paying a percentage of Scowcroft's wage, might be the same with Makin until we come to an agreement with his contract. I don't think we have as much as some people may think. You also have to take in to account that we did go over budget at one stage, especially with paying off Adams et al.

And surely not all of it has been made available to CL But you could be right though.. The article I read with Paul Mace (or someone else?) saying CL has some of next seasons budget advanced was dated before we beat Reading..
Fox in a Box Posted 16 February 2005 Posted 16 February 2005 Apart of the budget allocated for next year went in MDV and Maybury, a reduction in wages would have levelled this. CL a good business man too..... With slowy and makin (every game he played i think we lost!) off the books (i know we will be paying a retainer till the end of the season. This should free up some wage money if we can get a couple of loan signings. do you think Nedveds available?
