Teeno Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Good start then, but conceding 2 goals to an unheard team Ooaps.
gagandeep Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 and the young players were left on the bench, like canero, wright, morris, stearman, i thought they were going to be given a chance, so why not start them?
Scow Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Nice win, But conceding 2 goals <_< It's only a friendly.

I don't think Heath is better than Elliott - Heath needs to do alot of improving to get to Elliott's standards.....
Guest Estonian Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Hi all, not a leicester fan talking, but I was at the game today so I thought I could make a little report or such maybe... FC Levadia Tallinn - FC Leicester City 2:3 (1:2) Goals: 29. Cepauskas, 86. (pen) Voskoboinikov - 12., 40. Dublin, 60. Wright Red card: 84. Arbeiter Attendance: 1200 Levadia: Artur Kotenko, Sergei Hohlov-Simson, Vitoldas Cepauskas, Dmitri Kruglov, Tihhon Šišov, Konstantin Nahk, Aleksandr Dmitrijev, Marius Dovydenas, Vitali Leitan, Ats Purje, Vladimir Voskoboinikov Leicester: Daniel Coyne, Christopher Makin, Daniel Tiatto, Matthew Heath, Keith Gillespie, Lilian Nalis, Dion Dublin, James Scowcroft, Jason Wilcox, Gareth Williams, Matthew Elliott The sun was shining and it was pretty hot. Your team didn't play well in the first half, MOM Ats Purje, 18-year-old striker, caused some problems, beating your defenders...he was all over them. your first chanche flew into the net... dublin got the ball and saw Kotenko, the goalie, moving wrongly out, so stroke the ball over him. 1-0. Levadia continued moving forward and hit the net after a corner. dublin knew the answer...playing well together with Lilian Nalis, the latter made it easy for dublin to score. levadia defenders were crap also... second half was a different picture though. levadia took out their wonderful strikers and leicester started to move forward. Your last goal: Morris, who played very well, passed the ball to Tommy Wright, who scored from a yard or two. Levadia's last goal was from penalty, deserved honestly, if you ask me... I must add that your team didn't play too well, but that's allright I think, 'cause they are only starting to prepare for the coming season. Dublin was strong and played well, Morris impressed me also. Not a much of a report, but hope I helped you a bit. Best luck, Mikk
Scow Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Thanks for that. Pleased that Morris played well. How did Stearman play, Mikk?
Guest Guest Posted 11 July 2004 Posted 11 July 2004 Thanks for that.Pleased that Morris played well. How did Stearman play, Mikk? Well, I don't know, 'cause I only remember few names, mostly numbers. I'll get the team sheet and write about everyone then, ok?
