Wellman Posted 15 February 2005 Share Posted 15 February 2005 What does everyone reckon. You can get an Ipod miny for roughly £160 off of the Apple site.
Alexikokopops Posted 15 February 2005 Share Posted 15 February 2005 I would, you don't realise how good they are until you get one. It's so brilliant if you just feel like listening to a random song. I currently have 4865 songs on mine, and I'm not even half full Although I'd get a proper one rather than the mini.

TrickyTrev Posted 15 February 2005 Share Posted 15 February 2005 Get a large hard drive MP3 player but I wouldn't suggest an iPod, there are many other (better?) alternatives at much cheaper prices. I personally have the Creative Zen Touch which is superb, easy to use and I'd reccomend it to anybody.

Alexikokopops Posted 15 February 2005 Share Posted 15 February 2005 Creative Zen TouchMy best advice is to shop around a bit. 67222[/snapback] I'm not a big fan of the Creative Zen myself, my mate has one and I find the iPod a lot easier to use, and asthetically appealing. A plus point of the iPod is iTunes, which is the best music thing I've had the pleasure of using. And Smart Playlists are fun, I don't know if you can do them with any other MP3 things. Mark Posted 15 February 2005 Share Posted 15 February 2005 I have the Creative Zen. I was loving it to begin with. Currently though i've filled the whole of my 30gb of space up, the battery now sucks. I have to recharge every time before i want to listen it, and within a few hours its all but ran out! TrickyTrev Posted 15 February 2005 Share Posted 15 February 2005 I have heard alot of complaints about then ZEN battery, but mine is fantastic. It is certainly a lot better than my Sister's iPod. It seems to me there is a certain amount of luck involved with the indiviusal model you recieve.

Oli Posted 15 February 2005 Share Posted 15 February 2005 The Zen Xtra has a battery life of 14 hours, but says it could go down to 10 at the least, so I am not to bothered about that. I wont listen to it for 10 hours flat.
