Floating Fox Posted 22 July 2007 Posted 22 July 2007 I do my bit I used to buy all the programmes now I just buy the first and last ones of the season, the occasional special (today although I wish I hadn't bothered) and away ones now and again. And I can't remember the last time I bought food or drink. True, but still, cnts in this country will pay prices like £2 for a bloody bottle of coke. They then moan when they put the prices upto £2.50, £3 etc but they'll still buy it! If people just avoided it all together they'd bring there prices down, it's the same with cinema food etc. Sorry, just makes me angry as footy fans get ripped off weekly & they're not prepared do to anything about it.
Joe. Posted 22 July 2007 Posted 22 July 2007 I'll only buy a couple a season really. I used to get one from every away game I went to but since I've been going to virtually every one it's just stupid money. Dishing out £3 every time all adds up and gets expensive. The programmes are never worth it anyway

Daggers Posted 22 July 2007 Posted 22 July 2007 Sorry, just makes me angry as footy fans get ripped off weekly & they're not prepared do to anything about it. It doesn't make me angry. If people want to be abject morons and fork over an extortionate amount of money for something that patently isn't worth it then that's up to them. I don't by pies. I don't buy Coke. I don't buy programmes. If I want to read about football I'd buy WSC or World Soccer, I certainly wouldn't buy a glorified advert for Fusions Restaurant. My choice.
Fenland-Fox Posted 22 July 2007 Posted 22 July 2007 I see the food prices have also gone up £2 for a bottle of coke. ridiculous Try the vending machine in the club shop. 80p for a bottle of pepsi

hebangsthedrums Posted 23 July 2007 Posted 23 July 2007 I always used to read the programme cover to cover, but don't bother now though my Dad still always gets one. With living outside of Leicester it used to be the only thing aside from teletext that had any decent info on City, but now the net makes programmes fairly useless for me. Still get The Fox, but I don't think its as good as it used to be.
