Rincewind Posted 4 August 2007 Posted 4 August 2007 Went in Blockbusters on Queens Road Thursday and bought the complete series of T KEN Anyone seen it. Don't remember it but it may be a few years since it was on the telly. It's about alien abduction spread over 50 or so years and four generations of family. Watched the first two parts Thursday night but may watch them again as there are so many characters in it and I was losing the plot at times because it was late and I had to keep pausing the DVD to do patrols. All together it's nearly 15 hours long and theres one disc with features on. It has a 6 months guarantee so I can take it back if I get fed up with it. But I like Sci-Fi so unless any of the discs are faulty I will keep it.
Finnegan Posted 4 August 2007 Posted 4 August 2007 Booooo, Queens Road blockbusters. What a dump! Used to work on t'Abbey Lane. Much better, much better.

Remember the guy with the plastic nose, fake glasses and eyebrows with a selection of adult movies? Trying to work out which is more likely... To be honest, I remember very few of even the regular customers from Red Hill nowadays. If you were to describe a member of staff I could tell you, most likely, who they were - but it's been yonks.
