Manwell Pablo Posted 12 August 2007 Author Posted 12 August 2007 It was "utterly unstoppable" according to the commentator I know, I laughed. Alan Smith did correct him Cracking game.
The Reverend Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 Should of saved the first one definitely. The second one was more difficult tho. Keeper was unsighted by the looks of it, the ball was going away from him - it was just a speculative effort, which he got spot on and not many keepers would have saved it i dont think.

Rubbish my lad he should of saved that every day of the week! Got two hands to it he wasn't strong enough, poor technique.
Tommeh Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 Very poor goalkeeping, bit like Bywater for Pompey's 1st yesterday. His mare would have been capped if Drogba's half way line punt would have gone in!
C-man Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 He was another keeper to have the game of his life at the Walkers Stadum last year. Shame he couldn't do the same today.
Toby or not Toby Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 He was another keeper to have the game of his life at the Walkers Stadum last year.Shame he couldn't do the same today. I thought it was him but wasn't sure after seeing him today! Birmingham played quite well, and should be ok from relegation imo!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 Yes but Doyle the fooooker played a blinder on both occasions against us when we really needed a win - last season for the Blues when we lost 2-1 and on-loan at Millwall in a 1-1- Boxing Day draw.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 Can't believe the first and third Chelsea goals, not premierhsip standard from Doyle, also yesterday Stephen Bywater for Derby should really have saved Benjani's attempt. Already the keeper's postion could be Brum's and Derby's achilles heel in what was always going to be a mammoth struggle anyway.

Hopefully Derby persist and keep Bywater in goal for the whole season then

Toby or not Toby Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Weren't far off, birlliant effort! I was in the pub watching this and the screen i was watching wernt very clear and everyone watching the big screen cheered i thought it had gone in!
DB11 Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Maik Taylor would probably have gotten to the 3rd Chelsea goal, and surely any Premier League keeper would have saved their first goal without any problem whatsoever?
