Any idea what the parking situation is like near the ground? :)

You could just park on the street as car reg's are the same for the midlands, so Forest fans wont know which car to smash?

Unless they look at your tax disc

From OS

Leicester City today confirmed that a fourth and final allocation of tickets for their eagerly-anticipated Carling Cup second round tie at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday (August 28) had been received overnight.

The Foxes' total allocation for the match has now risen to over 5,300 and the club were delighted that all supporters who had placed a request for tickets for the game, prior to 9.30am today (Wednesday) should now receive tickets.

A Club spokesman said: "We officially sold out at about 1.30pm yesterday. We continued to take the names of any supporters who missed out on tickets after this time with a Reserve List created and we are pleased that with the co-operation of Forest and the receipt of a final additional allocation, we should now be able to service all those requests.

"In addition to all of the personal callers on the reserve list, all e-mail requests, faxes and postal requests received up until 9.30am this morning should also now be successful. "We have a huge backlog of postal, fax and e-mail requests which were received yesterday that we will continue to plough through and we were calling these customers from as early as 7am this morning to process their tickets.

"If you have already e-mailed the club, or placed your name on the reserve list, please bear with us, we have received your request for tickets, you are a priority, and we will be processing the orders today."

Any ticket requests received after 9.30am this morning will go on to a further reserve list on a first come first served basis and will only be processed if any surplus tickets remain after the backlog of orders has been complete.

City have also acknowledged the difficulties in selling arrangements due to the short period of time between the first and second round dates.

The spokesman added: "The draw for the second round was made late on Thursday night; prices and fixture arrangements were made on Friday; tickets were then printed and delivered by Forest on Saturday and we were able to go on sale from 9am on Monday.

"With the game just eight days later, and a Bank Holiday weekend in between, we had little alternative but to sell as we did.

"Thankfully, with the patience and co-operation of our supporters, we have eventually been able to satisfy the vast majority of our supporters over the past 48 hours, something we would like to thank our supporters for.

"I doubt very much whether any other club will be taking over 5,000 supporters to a second round Carling Cup fixture. It is yet another magnificent show of the support this club is fortunate to have."

If anyone has any information of use (parking, pubs etc), please pm either myself or another mod or admin to add to this thread.

If you just want to tell everyone that you happen to be going, put it here.

Reading on forest forum, a City fan was asking about parking around the ground, and the forum users replies were mainly that if you are early enough, you can park on cricket ground car park for a cost of usually £3.

Just some information you might like to add to Forest information for the Fans going.

Thanks

Leicester City and Nottingham Forest, in conjunction with the Football League, have agreed pricing and ticket selling arrangements for their re-arranged Carling Cup 2nd Round tie, now scheduled for Tuesday September 18th. Leicester City have also agreed to supply free coach travel for the re-arranged game to all 700 supporters who used the Official coach travel service last Tuesday evening.

Tickets will go on sale from 9.00am on Monday September 3rd to Priority 1 Season Ticket Holders who attended the first game. Ticket sales will then be staggered over the course of the following two weeks, as detailed below, to assist supporters and prevent long waiting times when purchasing tickets. Tickets for those who attended the first game and can supply their ticket stub from that game, have been priced at £5 for Adults, £3 for Seniors and £1 for the Under 18's.

Leicester City will be looking to accommodate all supporters who originally attended the game on Tuesday, with any remaining tickets then made available to other City fans, on a priority basis. Prices for any supporters who did not attend the first game, or who can not supply their ticket stub from the 1st game, will refer to the original pricing structure of £16 for Adults, £10 for Seniors and £4 for the Under 18's.

Under the terms of Nottingham Forest's Customer Charter and their Ground Regulations, no refunds will be made to any supporter who attended the original game on Tuesday evening.

Ticket sales arrangements for City fans are as follows :-

Monday 3rd Sept - Tickets go on sale to Priority 1 Season Ticket Holders who attended the 1st game

Tuesday 4th Sept - Tickets go on sale to Priority 2 Season Ticket Holders who attended the 1st game

Wednesday 5th Sept - Tickets go on sale to Priority 3 Season Ticket Holders who attended the 1st game

Thursday 6th Sept - As above

Friday 7th Sept - Tickets go on sale to Members who attended the 1st game

Saturday 8th Sept- As above

Sunday 9th Sept - CLOSED

Monday 10th Sept - Tickets go on sale to non season ticket holders or Members who attended the 1st game

Tuesday 11th Sept - As above

Wednesday 12th Sept - Any remaining tickets still left go on sale to Season Ticket Holders who did not attend the 1st game

Thursday 13th Sept - Any remaining tickets still left go on sale to Members who did not attend the 1st game

Friday 14th Sept - Any remaining tickets still left go on general sale

City have agreed to provide FREE return coach travel to all those supporters who attended Tuesday's game using the Official Fox Travel Service. A Club spokesman said "We felt it was important that as a Club, we would put on free travel to those who traveled with us last Tuesday night to support us again on the 18th".

Because of the need to supply ticket stubs from the original game in order to claim tickets for the revised fixture, supporters will be required to visit the Ticket Office in person, or post their ticket stubs together with their payment for new tickets. Unfortunately, telephone and e-mail orders can not be accepted until tickets go on sale to supporters who did not attend the original game, from the 12th September.
