We've seen enough over the last few years to know that things are not going to improve. It was no different under RVN, Rowett or Cifuentes. I'm tired of saying it but Rudkin needs to go. You have to question how many shite appointments one man can make before he loses his job.

If anyone can DM me a way to watch it would be greatly appreciated
-
I'd be happy to see him go. I think a move away would benefit both parties as long as we can bring in a replacement.

He looked sharper today—a yard quicker than in recent matches. It must be frustrating for him. He makes intelligent runs that routinely go ignored, and when he actually does get the ball, he’s usually 40 yards out with his back to goal. That said, he did switch off a couple of times today. When Howell managed to keep the ball in and loop it across the six-yard box, Bristric had already given up on the ball and missed out on a potential tap-in. Playing in this system though, he’s going to need the patience of a saint and the clinical finishing of Harry Kane to get more than 15 goals a season.

Tommy Watson joins on season loan from Brighton - Official

A young lad who is brilliant at creating half a yard for himself but then more often than not chooses either the wrong option or lacks quality in his end product. Alves and Howell should be starting based on what I have seen so far. -
He's always a step ahead of everyone else. Before the ball even arrives at his feet he already knows his next pass. We need to get him on the ball as much as possible.

I get it—this style of football isn't everyone's cup of tea. When the results aren't coming, watching us pass the opposition to death without anything to show for it is incredibly frustrating. To be fair, though, we created more than enough chances to win comfortably today. Defensively, we looked far more assured than in previous matches and we limited MK Dons to next to nothing. Braybrooke really should have had a couple, BDCR missed a clear one-on-one, and Joseph rattled the crossbar. We carved out more than enough quality openings over the 90 minutes. We signed a lot of players in the summer and it'll naturally take time for them to gel.

Sooner rather than later Howell for Burns please!!!!! We need direct players on both wings.
-
I guarantee we will see Cullen on at some point. Personally I'd rather see Alves and Howell brought on for Watson and Burns. So far Burns has been quite poor.

Page will be a Premier League player. There's no doubt about it in my opinion. I just hope that in the meantime we play him as much as we possibly can.
-
What do you expect me to say? Should I pretend we’re a Premier League side when that’s factually untrue, or rely on our world-class training facilities to justify why we should be winning? History and infrastructure don't win points. The reality is we’re currently a League One club, and until we accept how far we’ve fallen from what we used to be, we won't move forward.

I only caught 60 minutes of the match, but I was impressed with what I saw. McFarlane and Chaplin both stood out, especially considering it was their first competitive starts for us, while Page and Braybrooke complemented each other nicely. At the end of the day, we’re a League One side playing against Premier League opposition, but for a good chunk of tonight, we actually looked like the team from the higher tier. If everyone’s fit, that starting XI tonight should definitely be the team to start this weekend.

A bomb scare. Every time he gets the ball at his feet I'm worried he'll give away possession. The fact that he has been outclassed by average league one attackers in his first two appearances of the season tells me all I need to know about Okoli. Yet again another player who would struggle to find another club if we released him. Skipp, Thomas ,BDCR and Choudhury are also on the same list.
-
He looked absolutely bolloxed at times. Very good in 1v1 situations though. He waits for the defender to plant his feet then changes direction quickly.
-
Let's be honest, that was painful to watch. Martin can stick to a philosophy all he wants, but you have to play to your squad's strengths. Okoli isn't a ball-playing CB, Skipp doesn't have the passing range and constantly plays it safe, and BDCR is not a center forward. Unless we replace those three specifically, we’re going to struggle week in, week out.
-
Bristrics movement has impressed me. He is constantly on the move and makes intelligent runs. It's a pity that no f*clear picks him out. Our goal came from being direct and getting balls into the box. If I was Martin that would be my message for the second half.
-
Page finding himself on the bench behind Skipp and Cullen must be raging.
-
Our best defender today by some distance. Strong, fast, calm, composed and good technical ability too. He could've played upfront and I think he'd be better than any option that we currently have.
-
Absolutely honking today. He gave the ball away cheaply and looks so slow. Another that would struggle to find a club if we released him.
-
A striker!!! Someone who is a proven goalscorer at this level or in the championship!
-
He was caught far too many times in possession and better wingers will punish him time and time again. I hate to criticise any academy player but I think he is very fortunate to be playing professional football. I can't imagine any team wanting to sign him in leagues one or two if we were to release him.

Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager
lee7 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
What baffles me about our style of play is how often we slow things down the moment we win the ball back. If this is Russell Martin's instruction, it's mind-boggling. When you regain possession, the best move at any level of football is to counter immediately while the opponent is out of position. Dropping the tempo just lets them reset their structure and block the passing lanes. It doesn't help not having an out and out striker to play into either. -
He didn't really impact the game defensively or offensively.
-
It's one game so I don't want to be too quick to judge however on that showing I would prefer for us to bring in a goalkeeper that is good with his feet. Especially if the goalkeeper is going to be a massive part of our build up play.
-
Defensively we were extremely poor. In all honesty, we were fortunate to come away with a draw. Martin will watch that back and he will be extremely concerned. Skipp, Okoli, BDCR and Thomas should all be nowhere near our starting eleven. Considering his lack of experience in comparison to Thomas I thought Joseph played much better out of the two full backs. Braybrooke moves the ball intelligently and Alves is a nightmare to defend against with his constant twisting and turning. Cullen didn't impress me at all I think we still need a striker (a goalscorer at this level) and a CB that's comfortable on the ball and has a bit of pace.
