act smiley Posted 17 August 2007 Posted 17 August 2007 To be honest, I don't want to know - all I know is its industrial food at its flavoursome best. I have to say though, that there are a worrying number of them, I mean they outnumber starbucks at least 2:1!

NorthernFox Posted 17 August 2007 Posted 17 August 2007 You lot must be mad. When I first moved up to the North East in 89 I discovered Greggs. The Corned Beef Pastie could not be bettered anywhere in these isles. A FULL pastry was to be had. No More. These days you will be lucky to hit meat after three bites. Very Poor. New Bakery up here called Peters. Watch for expansion.
