First England Game

Recommended Posts

I have got two tickets for the England game next Wednesday. The last time I went to Wembley was for the Tramere cup final which we won. Anybody got any advice of the best place to park etc. I am taking my eleven year old son with me so not bothered about pubs- unfortunately!!

Stanmore tube has a car park and is pretty convenient in terms of coming from Leicester and for the jubilee line which will take you straight to Wembley Park station.

Get there early as I imagine it will be a popular choice for those coming from the North.

Stanmore's what I'd suggest too. Easy to find, only 4 tube stops away, pretty close to the M1 for a quick getaway, just get there early as last time I went for a day in the capital parking was tricky on a normal day. I'd imagine it'll be chaos 2 hours before ko. I'd reccoment get there with a few hours to spare.

Theres a village near watford or luton carnt remember the name of the top of my head. If you park at the station in the village then get the train from there wembley centeral is about 4 stops from station

EDIT: Just seen tommehs post thats the one

Stanmore station can be booked in advance if you go to the England website...which means that you don't have to worry too much. Plus, it's cheap.

There's a dedicated website for it but you'll have to hunt it out because I don't have it to hand.

As has been said, the queues build up early - seriously early.
